amok: By the way, this is another bundle where EA is giving all proceedings to Charity.
I'm sure someone will soon come and say something about taxes and stuff...
Another EA bundle with 100% going to charity. Who's greedy now? ;-P

keeveek: Another EA bundle with 100% going to charity. Who's greedy now? ;-P
Is it a trick question and is the answer still EA?
Meh, kind of games I'd rather see on my tablet or smartphone (and actually already have many of those, or similar, on Android already, even DRM-free). And I've grown to dislike e.g. Peggle games, they are closer to slot machines than proper games IMHO, ie. more based on luck and repetition, than skill.

What's the difference between PvZ and PvZ GOTY? That's what interests me the most in the bundle, but probably not worth $6, especially considering they are only Steam/Origin keys... I have PvZ already both on Windows and Android. And PvZ2 on Android, which is "free-to-play".

Zuma's Revenge is pretty nice too, but I think I've played enough of it, and its clones, already. Even on my old Nokia Symbian phone. It was a nice game to play while taking a dump.

Funny thing about PvZ2 though, nowadays it feels much easier than before? Did EA quietly make some game balance changes to it, so that having to pay for play isn't quite so obvious? Or have I just become much better in the game, even though I wasn't even playing it in between? Weeeeird...

EDIT:

http://plantsvszombies.wikia.com/wiki/Plants_vs._Zombies:_Game_of_the_Year_Version

The Game of the Year Edition has 20 achievements, access to the Zombatar and new in-game music which cannot be found in the original version. This can be downloaded on the official soundtrack.
...
The Zombatar is a feature available in multiple sectors of Plants vs. Zombies paraphernalia. It allows the customization of a personalized zombie through decoration using various ornaments.
Errr, right. Pass. I was hoping for new single-player levels or at least lots of new units/enemies.

What, you mean like "saving a third of what this bundle makes in taxes due to it being classified as an expense for accounting purposes"?

I'm sure that's a rather secondary thought in the minds of EA though. I suspect the main motivation is borne of desperation to get people to use Origin which, years later, still hasn't made much of a dent outside of BF4 and Sim City.

If that's the case why didn't they make the keys Origin only rather than Origin or Steam? I believe the last EA/Origin bundle was Origin only.

The FIFA games maybe?

Hard to tell. Each has its own distinct demographic

Not on Origin it isn't. The Sims 3 doesn't require Origin to run, and I don't know anyone that actually uses it.

It's a pretty safe bet that FIFA isn't a big seller on PC. The overwhelming majority of sales (even more so than most titles) is on the consoles, which is why the PC always has to make do with a substandard release based on the previous year's version (like PS2).

Nope, the last Origin bundle had some Steam keys included as well. EA are well aware that the bundle will not sell if they only include Origin keys.

Might want to correct the $6 tier. Its Typing of the Dead, Binary Domain, Renegade Ops, 10 Classic SEGA Genesis Games, and Medieval II: Total War.

Thanks for the heads up. Bad copy/paste on my part.

Interesting. For me, it shows "Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed" instead of "Typing of the Dead". Possibly because the latter can't be sold in Germany?
