Momo1991: Yes, it almost appears to be an unfinished game. I was more than a bit miffed to have paid even a sale price last year...
SirPrimalform: Yeah, it's meant to be the first episode in a series that probably won't get finished...
Ever since I first noticed episodic games I had a bad feeling about the idea overall and figured that the best approach for me at least is to ignore them until all episodes are released and packaged into one single game package before I even consider looking at it. Like the Back to the Future game on GOG for example - it comes with all of the episodes as one game so that's ok with me since it's complete. Totally no interest in buying episode 1 of any game at all though which plans for more episodes in the future with no guarantee that they'll ever happen. I don't oppose the business model though, if it works for some developers then I say go for it, but I wont personally buy such games until they're complete, much like I wont buy a game that is "coming soon", "early access", "prerelease" etc. I think it's ok that they exist for people that are eager to try them, but I only want games that are feature-complete, story-complete all-in-one, with no waiting and/or hoping for the rest of the story/experience to come later. It's an experimental business model IMHO.
