Humble Choice is at the point where I'm considering unsubscribing from it for good. Each month it gets worse. We'll see what December brings, but if it's another crapshow, I'm probably done with this particular bundle unless something amazing gets released.

Did anyone else get an "Your Humble Choice subscription is now unpaused" mail this week, saying "You've restarted your subscription. Pay early to choose your games today! " and then a picture with the lineup from May 2021 (Darksiders Genesis, Metro Exodus and Hellpoint)?

I was very confused, didn't make any sense, but I guess it was just an error in their (or my) mail system?

I have the classic and am in the same boat. I will wait what they offer in December and then I will likely cancel as well. This year I got only February bundle and then MAy one but only because I forgot to pause it and it is not worth it anymore to pay attention to it every month to make sure I am pausing because the quality seem to be declining with each passing month.

Leroux: Personally, I don't think it will. This bundle doesn't look like a higher quality offering despite having a decreased number of games, in fact to me it looks like one of the weaker bundles (though tastes differ). All the changes and desperate offers I've seen from Humble recently (e.g. "how about NOT unpausing and paying less?", "how about three unpaused months for $6 only?") rather seem to suggest to me that this bundle isn't really working out for them and might not be around for that much longer ...

TT_TT_TT_TT: For me i guess December bundle will be the deciding moment regarding on if i will cancel the slowly upcoming renew of the 12 months plan (hence losing classic benefits) for good and from then just get a bundle like twice a year under the new conditions

Leroux: Are you sure you can't just stay on the classic plan on a month-to-month basis like many others here? Only if you subscribe to another year?

Anyway, like I said, I'm not even sure it will still be around this time next year (no idea what would happen with a renewed 12 months subscription in that case).
Apparently i only could have stayed on for another year and not just changed to a monthly plan (unless i got screwed by the messy Humble User Experience again and it was possible).
But ya i actually cancelled my Subscription for good now anyway (despite having 2 more months left on it before renew) - needing like 5 steps to cancel and then nice "don't leave screens like this:

If you cancel now, you'll miss out on your future 10 Humble Classic games.

You'll lose your 10% discount to the Humble Store and exclusive access to the Humble Trove.

No obviously DRM free games included this month, not even Humble Bundle originals or sneak peeks...

Also, from what I played of the demo, 8 Doors seemed fun. A bit like Momodora 4, but more platform-y and a bit stiffer.
Dunno any of the other games.

Ya this months bundle pretty average as well - really confirms my choice of having had cancelled my 12 month classic plan.
This months bundle aint awful but it aint good either
2 Multiplayer only Niche games -
Mordhau (at least high quality but still Niche)
and well with the second one they managed to be "insulting" to their buyers again...

Maneater apparently a lot of fun but a game pass game and i guess also hit and miss for some

Greak Lacuna and Endzone kinda carrying the bundle - would not call it shitty but for sure not a good one either and the no player multiplayer shooter just seems like such a careless dick move again (why not then even include 1 game less)

This month Choice is very tempting to sub for. At least for Mafia: Definitive Edition or Rebel Cops, as for me. I don't quite understand the prolongation of Humble Choice because I have never subscribed for any monthly subscription before. Do they really take money from the credit card automatically each month?
