Higher number of games = higher chance that there's at least one among them that you would consider good (and don't have yet). One very good AA+ game is worth nothing if everyone insterested in it already got it, or it's in a genre you don't like. And since everyone doesn't have the same tastes, decreasing the number of games also comes with the risk of the bundle being attractive to fewer customers. Personally I'd be fine if there were only 1-2 games that I'd consider worth the asking price for the whole bundle, but the odds to find these 1-2 in 12 are better than to find them among 5-6 only.

Passing this month. I don't need every game to be AAA, but I need something I can recognize.

dont think so , if more = less good games , what if they fill the list with dating sims and meh platformers and a few "story rich" visual novels.. like "Kate Don't Wait" ? And if you pay for the whole pack you clearly dont want games you wont play , maybe you can give them away or something ,but if they are those meh game probably nobody will want em

You're arguing from your personal perspective based on your own genre preferences. That's precisely what I was saying - you can't just assume that all buyers will love or hate the same games as you do, that's why a bigger selection may raise the odds that everyone will find something to like (and dislike, naturally). It is not a guarantee for a good bundle though, of course. Humble might fill the entire bundle with the same type of games, be it strategy games, shooters or visual novels/dating sims, which could be very awesome for some and very meh for others. Or they could fill it with cheap games that are objectively of lower quality, independent of the genre, which would probably be meh for most everyone. But the same can happen with smaller sized bundles too, and what you propose, a smaller sized bundle with only "good games" is too focused on subjective factors to work. And not just because of different genre preferences but also because a lot of people might already have the most popular games.

no it is not , because even in genres there are good games and meh and garbage games and those are objective
if a lot of people already have the most popular ones then why would they buy a bundle? they probably havent even played out the good ones
i see no point of buying or playing bad games , and looking at steam reviews neighter others thats why even if they write positive about a bad game they play them just a 1-2 hours max and never touch them again

Why would anyone buy a bundle then anyway, or let's say, more than one bundle? They probably haven't even finished all the games in the last bundle they bought. Bundles give you the opportunity to try stuff you might not have bought or even known about otherwise.

Anyway, the bundle is called Humble Choice for quite some time now. The classic plan that grants you all of the games in the bundle is just a concession to previous subscribers of Humble Monthly. The actual idea behind Humble Choice is that you choose your games yourself, and in that context it goes without saying that "pick 3 out of 12" gives you more choice than e.g. pick "3 out of 4".

That being said, you can definitely argue that *if* a downsizing of the bundle would actually allow Humble to offer better quality games, then a lot of people might find that concept preferable to Humble Choice.

you still get 3 games but better qualtiy ones

Personally, I don't think it will. This bundle doesn't look like a higher quality offering despite having a decreased number of games, in fact to me it looks like one of the weaker bundles (though tastes differ). All the changes and desperate offers I've seen from Humble recently (e.g. "how about NOT unpausing and paying less?", "how about three unpaused months for $6 only?") rather seem to suggest to me that this bundle isn't really working out for them and might not be around for that much longer ...

Are you sure you can't just stay on the classic plan on a month-to-month basis like many others here? Only if you subscribe to another year?

Anyway, like I said, I'm not even sure it will still be around this time next year (no idea what would happen with a renewed 12 months subscription in that case).
