Of course, there's no guarantee on any of it. And apparently there are missing games from the list that had cat icons to be filled later.

It could have also been sent out to mislead people.

I have no idea.

Nonetheless, Unless you have $12 to throw around willy-nilly, I still would not suggest giving someone your money and not knowing what you're going to get out of it.

And if you're willing to gamble the $12.

Unless Humble really does pull out all the stops and manages to persuade devs to bundle their previously unbundled AAA games, they're going to see a precipitous drop-off in subscribers after the 6th of November.

Grargar: What game are you talking about? The only game that saw a GOG release is Legend of Grimrock 2 and that's not a console port (it doesn't even exist on consoles).
avatar
fronzelneekburm: Gah, confused SR3 and 4. Strike the part about the gog-release, the rest you can leave unaltered.
One of the selling points is that you get games that haven’t been bundled yet.

Like SR 4 which totally hasn't been bundled ever, least of all in the Humble Jumbo Bundle 3 last year. Nope, no bundling here. The non-bundling is strong with this one. It's like "How much more unbundled could this be?" and the answer is "None. None more unbundled."...

fronzelneekburm: Ahahahahahahahahahhahahahaha, is this for real? I can't stop laughing!

I thought they would at least have the decency to wait until the second month to make people feel ripped off. A console port that's so yesteryear it even already saw a gog-release, an early access game, animu and a game that regularly is on sale for $5. Whare's the brand new AAA-crap to lure in the early adopters?

This is just pathetic.
+1. But who honestly expected this would be a good deal.

It was pathetic from the start... and very far from being "humble".
Hmm, no public revelation of the monthly bundle. Anyway, new pre-order bundle available. This time, the instantly-available game is Towerfall: Ascension.

catpower1980: I think it's only for the launching, after that it's full mystery....
Called it.

According to their video from twitter, the games are:

Besiege
Lethal League
Saints Row IV
SanctuaryRPG: Black Edition
Towerfall: Ascension
Valkyria Chronicles

More than probably, all games are Steam-only.

Already own Valkyria Chronicles, and two of the other games I might consider getting (SanctuaryRPG: Black Edition and Towerfall: Ascension) I could just get here. So, mehtastic bundle (like 99% of them).

This bundle has highly regarded games, but I wonder who wants a collection of highly regarded relatively low cost games which are all over the place genre-wise. Most people would prefer to just buy the ones that fit their tastes, which, if they want just one or two, would end up cheaper on sales.
high rated
Still obviously not for the DRM-free crowd or people with large game collections.
Still nothing for me to see here.
Still, it seems it could have been worse for those brave few....

I bought it, was happy as it gave me a lot of gift codes for some decent games :-)

Most people are happy to get games for themselves - not trent though - he's happy to get games to giveaway!

I'm happy I didn't buy it. I thought about. The only games in the bunch that I already have is Besiege (which, incidentally, was given to me by trentonlf!), and SanctuaryRPG. I'm pretty anti-bundle these days - too many games that I don't want, just to get some games I do want, and that would be the case with this one.
