Grargar: The contents for April's bundle have just been revealed. The games are:

The Witness (Early unlock)
Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition
Black Mesa
Kingdom: New Lands
Event[0]
Tumblestone
Slime-San (Humble Monthly Debut)
Jawns (Humble Original)

Next month's early unlocks (yes, plural) are DiRT Rally and Inside.
I'm glad that i didn't grab the April monthly bundle. Dodged a bullet. :D
I cancelled it and hmm....Am I happy?
Like these are not really my stlye of games except Black Mesa and maybe Kingdom: New Lands.
But yeah I would be happy with Black Mesa so....

Phew, made a right decision to cancel, have only a passing interest in Kingdom New lands out of that entire bundle. Next months unlock doesn't do anything for me either.
Well, I would love Kingdom: New Lands but that's about it... kind of mixed feelings right now about pausing it... oh well...

Dodge what kind of bullet? A "fun" bullet? There are, at least, 2 titles there that are worth getting: Black Mesa and Event[0]....Haven't looked at the others but, so far, so good.

Why is it people think a bundle sucks because you don't get 3 or more AAA titles?

At least the humble bundle has better odds at getting solid titles than these random 10 games grab-bag deals. I'd rather pay the extra $5 and get a few good games than a %65 guarantee of getting 10 crappy indie titles.

Sorry but, dollar for dollar, the HumbleBundle is a better deal in either monthly or special deals like that PS3 deal. I'm not playing my PS3 now, but i will get back around to it and i'm damn sure going to invest what would amount to a small to medium Taco Bell meal money into a pack of titles i know i can enjoy.

I doubt this is about AAA tites, it's just about different preferences. You can't play all the games, not even all the good games, and if you weren't planning on playing the ones featured in the bundle, the bundle isn't worth the price for you. Doesn't mean it can't be a good deal for someone else with different tastes and interests.

I keep meaning to cancel it, mostly because I prefer DRM free keys and everything there seems to be Steam based, but the low price of the bundle, $12, has stayed my hand for now. This month feels very thin in terms of games that pique my interest.
The bullet. It was dodged. There'll be better chances to get The Witness. Probably.

Keep in mind that tastes are different. All games in the April monthly bundle are absolutely not my cup of tea so i'm happy that i dodged the bullet of wasting money for games i would never ever play. ;)

It would have been better if you would have said that from the jump. Your first post gives the indication that it's not a good package in general because you don't explain why.

Well, that's the thing about Hunble, it's hit and miss but it's rarely a complete miss. Unlike Green Man Gaming that will sell you 15 of the $7 for 10 games and it be absolute garbage or G2A who does the same thing. Humble, at least, makes sure "some" of their content is worthwhile.

For what most people would pay for 2 people getting a Taco Bell meal i would hardly call it, on "any" level "Dodging a bullet" like the other dude did. Considering people blow more than that, on stuff that usually ends up either in the trash can, on the shelf, or in the toilet every day of their lives...When i first started with Humble, last year, they had some great titles.

Seems like every time I pass, I miss out. Every time I do subscribe, I end up getting stuff I don't want.

Yea, I know that feeling. In the end I decided to pass this month too (well, Dirt 4 should be better Dirt Rally so I will not miss that much hopefully) that's why I'm sure that there will be some game that I really want. :P

Yeah, I mean, Dirt 4 will have all the content of Dirt Rally plus a tonne of other stuff... yet they both cost about the same (when not on sale). I think that is why Codemasters are selling Dirt Rally so cheaply these days, before Dirt 4 comes out, as once it does there'll be no good reason to buy Dirt Rally anymore.

I miss so much 2 things of HB:

- Bitcoin payment for bundles
- Weekle Bundles ( japanese weekly in particular were my favourites)
It's funny with HB monthly, whatever I subscribe or not (like this time) there is always that thought on last day "only few hours till huge regret or happy relief. ;)
