Well, if you can cancel the subscribtion after getting LoG 2 and still get the month's 2-4 extra games, it's a decent bundle.

This is just idiotic. Pay monthly for random games? Am I getting this right? For something I might not want at all or already own? Umm... no? Yeah, I think I'll settle for a "no".

Seems like the new fad with digital downloads is trying to dupe customers into blind purchases. Not a fan of this at all.

It's like a much more expensive PS+/GWG. Maybe based on that IGN article though the lineup of games will be better.

This sort of reminds of me the IndieGameStand Elite Subscription model, only much more barebones. Where are the "incentives"?? At least IGS gives flexibility and ability to pay with something other than just CC (and offers discounts on storefront)

Well, when European trade resumed on a significant scale, in the XVth century, it seeems the practice to sell pigs in a bag and to abuse the buyer by putting a sick or dead cat instead was sufficiently common to have generated common sense ( to buy a pig in a poke, acheter un chat dans un sac or Παίρνω γουρούνι στο σακί , the results is always the same )

I think they'll have to prove it's worthwhile. If over the course of a few bundles they'll show that the gamble is worth it, then people will join. Not everyone will go for this, but I'm sure there will be quite a few buyers.

I'm disappointed with the charity aspect. Every new Humble endeavor has a smaller charity component: bundles have 20% by default (and can be set to 100%), the store has 10%, and now it's 5%.

It is the same in German ("Die Katze im Sack kaufen.")

Hmm...Humble Monthly Swindle? Enticing people into purchasing bundles blindly is likely to result in disappointment and Steam only is definitely not worth $12. They are probably going to have some good ones for the very first one atleast to try and get more people to jump on the monthly subscription band wagon. It will be interesting to see how this one turns out for Humble.

I imagine it will be worth it, in monetary terms at least, with some quality games offered. For people who use Steam and have small libraries. I am happy to be in neither category.

Good for those who prefer buying their games blind, I guess.

I personally passed GOG's pinatas, so I guess I'll pass this too. I am old-fashioned in that way that I prefer knowing what I'm buying.

It can be a good if you wish to support the indie scene in general, since devs are getting paid by humblebundle to get those game to the customers wich gives them more exposure as well in a market that is becoming excessively crowded.
