ET3D: This bundle has highly regarded games, but I wonder who wants a collection of highly regarded relatively low cost games which are all over the place genre-wise. Most people would prefer to just buy the ones that fit their tastes, which, if they want just one or two, would end up cheaper on sales.
Thats a good point, the only game that interest me from it is LoGII and I just got for half the price of the whole bundle.

Maybe, as they expect people to buy the bundle "blind", they might have different themes (sports, action quests etc.) might garner more interest.

budejovice: Still obviously not for the DRM-free crowd or people with large game collections.
Still nothing for me to see here.
Still, it seems it could have been worse for those brave few....

trentonlf: I bought it, was happy as it gave me a lot of gift codes for some decent games :-)
Color me unsurprised. I bow to Saint Lightfoot of Texas. :)
i am one of those persons who were tricked once (and so, never twice) by this monthly BS !

all games are for steam only, no drm free version available (even for titles who DO have one in the humble store already)

i already got the major titles since long
and the indie ones were games i would have completely avoided so far and am not interested in playing

so, aside from one game i may have a friend interested by it, given i have very few gamer friends, among those most do not have taste for indie stuff or don"t use steam (cause they dislike is as much as i do, this month bundle was a waste.

i dont even dare to contact humble support about all those duplicates as they sure would answer "you can give your duplicates to friiiiieeendzzzz you dumb customer of thee" (thank you moron, I, as a customer, should not be assumed to have any steam-loving friend at all, mind you). gog was on higher standard during pinata sale regarding duplicate. glad i subscribed this mockery with a virtual credit card (great invention this thing)

jesus what a waste

andas one said, those games are very genrewise and not every person is supposed to have such a broad panel of game taste.

the least worst way to use this would be to buy the subscription together with a group of friends, sharing the cost and the games each month.

i sense the upcoming apparition of some "humble monthly BS giveaway" forum topic soon :)

Meh, games without DLC. I'm glad i skipped this. I had everything that interests me anyway. And buying games with a blindfold on is just crazy. I hope nobody buys the next :).

i checked again and it appears now... but a handful of hours ago, i could only have steam keys and that was all

now they finally got in the library, yet still no soundtracks or any other added value to the games anyway

regarding the monthly price, blind buying half duplicate without goodies seems a clear trap to me. and to think it makes its debut during gog fall sales, it is hilarious :) thank gog sales i could finally put my hands on pillard of eternity (that was clearly a magnet to me, yet my wallet couldnt handle it without discount)

if i had more gaming friends, i would activly recommand them against/away from this :)
Probably not the best timing for them to have a big sale on Saints Row. And they announce on their blog and Twitter like, "Here it is! The Monthly Bundle for November! Look at this list of games!" And the unwritten subtext is, "PS: You can't get this bundle now, even if you are willing to pay us $12 for it. You could have gotten this bundle only if you gave us $12 before you even knew what any of the games were going to be." Seems very counter-intuitive.
I kinda have mixed feelings about the bundle. First of all, luckily, i did not owned any games from those offered, so that was good. This is an achievement for me, as i own over 900 games on Steam.

Now, the bundle seems a little bit lightweight. As far as overall full-price value of the games, they cost around $100 at full price. On the other hand, some of the games are pretty new and all of them are good, appreciated titles, so they will probably not be on 75% discount too soon. But still, the bundle does not feel special. As we need to pay for unseen games, i would have expected something more. It would be a good idea if you would be able to pick your own games for a larger number of titles. That would have been special and it would make you pick the games that you think that you'll like or that you don't already own. I'm sure that i'm gonna encountered owned games in next months. Yes, even if i'm not extra-happy with this month, i'm gonna subscribe for next months too.
didn't buy it which was a lucky coincidence for me as i already own SR4 with all DLCS and Legend of Grimrock II as well so the only game i still would have been interested really in would have been Valkyria Chronicles (which is also only a well would be nice to try it out some day buy but not a must have buy).
The bundle itself was not really "weak" or "bad" but i still can't see that they offer me a better value with the 12$ blind buy than with their generic humble bundles where i exactly know the games and can decide if i want to spent 1$ , 8,02$ or 15$ and then know exactly which games i'll be getting. Also really curious if they will manage to maintain the quality of the bundle or if the second one will already suck balls even if you don't own any of the included games and are rather "open minded" regarding genres and different styles of games.
Hah, I knew that would have been wasted money. The only two games in the bundle I already own, so yay for me of my great insight?
Nice I skipped this. Basically I'm only missing TowerFall and Besiege, I bought Grimrock 2 from a friend for 2.50€.
The selection of titles is good if you miss all of them.
I didn't even know they were doing this blind bag bundle thing. I doubt I would have picked it up anyway, but I would have been disappointed if I had, already own Valkyria Chronicles, Saints Row IV and Legend of Grimrock II.
Ok, this is silly. So, i got first bundle, and i joined for second one too.

Now, i understand that the first unlocked game is Towerfall: Ascension, one of the games that were already in the last month bundle? This is plain stupid. They didn't even gave an extra key, so i would give it to someone else.

I bet that they had some laughs in their offices...
=== serious question ===

I dunno if the keypage with the steam keys/giting links would still be valid if i were to cancel my Humble Monthly subscription... In doubt I quickly have to get rid of duplicate and unwanted games (means: everything mostly) before it renew the infamous leech on my wallet

=== end of serious question ===

And now for some outloud ranting :)

* Saint row 4: already in some previous bundles of theirs... I got it on X360 ages before, then on steama through HB, and would have it on GOG if it were available

*
Valkyria Chronicles: SEGA, Tactical rpg, dystopic univers, great charcoal/pencil paper style ? Of course i already got this one as soon as it was at a decent price, again waaaaay before this monthly bundle thing

* Besiege: got it on Humble Store as soon as it was launched there, thanx...

* Lethal league: this game requires me to have friends to play with; i got no friends... period. Not interested, as a consequence

* Tower Ascension: same remark as above, still dont have friends.

* Darksanctuary RPG: I am not the kind of person who is instantly turn off by minimalistic gfx as long as game has good mechanisms, but here ? Sorry, really not my type: i already have a handful of games of same style and quality awaiting for me to play in my collection.

* Grimrock 2: got the 1st as soon as released on GOG, got second one as well under same circumstances.

Just what the hell were they thinking. What kind of gamer/customer this offer is supposed to target, honnestly ? I dont see the logic. And the claim of "previously never released in bundle" is a dodgy feature so far.
They do have the tools to offer something different, like a pool of alternative games according to duplicate of customer profile (exemple: this customer never redeemed timed steam keys pack for multiplayer games ? why bother again with multiplayer games ?)

And of course, many dumb social medias buttons to mindless "like" the thing up but no clear central communauty place or forum to exchange feedbacks between them and their subsciptors (how convenient). Kind of "take this bunch of nonsense selection of games and shut up"... I am curious about which % of 1st month subscriptors will renew the membership for 2nd month. And as i have so little faith in their customer support (well, it is not really "faith", as i did see the blinding light of their overall constent incompetence on various issues and questions before), i'm glad i used a virtual credit card (wonderful thing) to subscribe.
