So here it is Humble Bundle with another original idea:

The Humble Indie Font Bundle - A collection of artisan fonts.

PWYW tier:

Halfvetica - this basically a half rendered font, could be useful for a prank, may be;

Sans Sans - actually nothing :);

Unicharacter - A nice hexagon and nothing more...;

BTA tier (now at $2.86):

Bike Courier

After Impact

Times Old Roman

And a third tier, currently at $0.41:

Cosmic sans

The BTA and the third tier are actual fonts.

So do you like this new bundle, would you buy it and is this an April's Fool Prank what do you really get when bought?

Just wow.
You likely get a free copy of "Watch Paint Dry" from Steam.

Nice. Bought it, donated to Doctors Without Borders.

I got the fonts, as promised. Why should it be anything else?
It would be great if they did this with some sensible fonts. I mean, sure, I can imagine some use for Halfvetica and After Impact, maybe Cosmic Sans has a place at a child's birthday party (to be fair though, it's not like Comic Sans has much other use either), while Sans Sans and Unicharacter are completely useless and both Bike Courier and Times old Roman give me a headache.

You are right, I thought it was a joke. How about they pay us to take them away - they probably only work on Steam anyways.

Remember when this happened?

Even it's for April's fool, it's not a bad idea in itself since the licensing cost of professional fonts for commercial use is quite high :(
And in the Humble monthly bundle you'll find 48ways.

Indeed, I wouldn't mind getting a license for some of exljbris' non-free fonts. I mean, so far, his free ones are among my absolute favourites, and while I usually don't bother changing default fonts, I would be happy to throw a few bucks his way for the privilege of using them in the few instances I do have use for something nicer-looking than Arial, Times New Roman, Liberation, or DejaVu.

And it's gone. So it probably was an April's Fool joke afterall.

Yeah it would be nice if we see a bundle of usable fonts next time.

I actually have an old CD full of "pirated" fonts by Adobe (and a "before CC" InDesign version). It feels weird to not be able to "really" use them but at least it's nice to preview them on some print design works.
Imho an April's Fools Joke that asks for real money is a bit exaggerated :). And the fonts were mostly useless.
