And they can't even be bothered making the flagship bundles DRM-free any more.
Thanks for the news, personally I find it thoroughly underwhelming.

I said it the deals thread but...

Coloring pages, coupons and a timed unlock (which is likely Hyper Light Drifter, since they leaked the contents of this bundle via their support page going live before the bundle did) - the games in it may be good games (even if a number of them have run the bundle circuit like it were a marathon), but this is a low effort for an anniversary offering overall.

Hmm disappointing DRM for disappointing games.

Me too, I mostly made the thread to moan about the DRM anyway. :P
I think I won't get booed too hard when I say that...I don't think there's been a good Humble Bundle since they were in the single digits.

They're basically a steam key reseller with a charity slider these days.
The $1 tier is DRM-free and well worth it for Hotline Miami and Beat Cop alone.
Looks more like a funeral than a celebration ...

The original bundles were not only DRM-free but also full of bundle debuts. Games in this bundle have already been bundled before or even given away for free in other stores (Dustforce has even been in one or more of the previous HIBs, and it's even older than Hotline Miami which everyone and their momma should already own by now). Wallpaper, coloring books and coupons can't replace exciting indie games. And what's the deal with these mystery unlocks? What do they hope to gain with that? That people bookmark the page in order to check again next week if the bundle has become more interesting then?

Meh, I've stopped buying humble bundles.
Humble have really gone downhill since the IGN acquisition.
Look at the bright side: No incentive to buy = no need to go through eleventy billion craptchas and two-factor emails that never fucking arrive in your inbox.

Humble schafft sich ab - and I for one approve!

I feel like they'd already been going downhill a while before that, but IGN certainly accelerated the process.

Eh, they've always done extra games added halfway through since the first bundle. I don't think they used to announce it in advance that they were going to add them though, which I guess is what you're complaining about?

They haven't done it in quite some time. When they did, it was done almost exactly like it is in this bundle.

Well, the old bundles felt like complete bundles and the extra games were a "surprise" bonus. This bundle feels incomplete (only 2 games in the BTA) but is teasing with mystery games from the start.
