kalirion: Hellbound, in the $1 tier, actually has a DRM Free download:

toxicTom: They don't even tell you what games are DRM-free any more? At least I can't see the little icons that used to be there.
Usually the bundle page will say "Multiple Platforms" instead of "Redeem on Steam" if there's even one game in the bundle that has a DRM-free version. You then have to expand each individual game "tab" to see which redeems where, and which (if any) have a download directly from Humble. The fact that Hellbound's expanded tab doesn't even mention "DRM-free" could be an oversight, or a sign that the devs don't want people expecting parity between the Steam and not-Steam versions, or a harbinger of Humble becoming even less DRM-free-friendly than they have been for the last couple years.
Interestingly, that game isn't available in the Humble Store, so unless it was in a bundle before (I have no idea if it has), the DRM-free build must've been uploaded just for this bundle. Make of that what you will.
Already own DUSK, Amid Evil and Ion Fury here on GOG, and Hedon has been on my wishlist for a while. But $12 for 5 new games is a bit too much for me atm after currency conversion. I'll pass.
Great bundle though.
Not bad, I've been meaning to grab Ion Fury at some point (already have Project Warlock) and the others look solid as well. I think the FPS genre has, for the most part, improved over the years but man, playing these nostalgic kinds of shooters really does bring me back to my childhood.
That top tier is really popular. The average is 97% of the price for getting everything.
I hope you know that the majority of those steam keys will land in the hands of key reselling websites .

Even if true, that would concern the publishers/devs, not me. And Humble has been revoking resold keys and banning reseller accounts when they detect them. That's why I don't trade/sell HB links for games I don't want myself anymore, though I do trade HB keys for other game keys.

If you buy the bundle for yourself and redeem the keys on your Steam account, how do the keys get to reseller sites?

What a terrible name for this. lol Boomers were born mostly in the 1950s. I get called boomer all the time by these wacky millennials, and it pisses me off. lol I seriously doubt there are many true Boomers who play video games. They exist, but they are few and far between.
I own almost every game in this bundle already. I guess I like boomer shooters. I've been interested in HROT though. I'll be in the trading thread.
I´m a bit stooopid, so can somebody explain to me what "boomer" does mean in this context? Leo.org is no help, since it shows things like "loudspeaker" and "big male kangaroo" as translations.
Why are people called boomers and what are boomer shooters?

Its not this at all, but couldnt resist:

Anyhows, I went ahead and brought just the one game (no interest in steam keys), Hellbound. I have to say its well worth it for £0.73p, I gave a little bit more as I think its worth that and would recommend anyone who like FPS to buy it. Its not Doom Eternal, but still a pretty good try. I can also confirm it does have direct download AND torrent download AND extras!! GOG take note, otehr stores are capable of it (although I admit the file from humble is one big zip which is really naff in these days, and no idea what version this is - I will have a go at downloading and update whwn I know).

Edit, its worth the £0.73p for the soundtrack!

Edit2: I just want to add, I downloaded and checked the version, it is up to date. The Zip is simply the game files all in one zip, so unpack then run.

beacuse things go BOOM and boomer rhymes with shooter and sales people have no imagination nor soul

edit: if you wanted Boomers as a group of people, it is those born in the baby boom after WW2, between 1946-1965. so today they are between 76 and 57 years old. this has no relevance to this bundle.

30 year old boomer is a meme. It started as a negative meme to mock those in their 30s who only like older things from the 90s or things copying older design. Despite starting as negative, it was actually embraced by some classic FPS fans and somewhat popularized... and you actually describe in your post why. So "Boomer shooter" describes FPS games either created in the 90s or based on their designs. You'll note for example, they don't do a collection of Call of Duty games and call it a "Boomer Shooter Bundle".

Thanks for the explanation, guys. This has been puzzling me for quite some time.
