zeogold: It's not that, he just wasn't aware how DRM-free games work.
He said that his friend explained nothing to him, and as I pointed out, he probably looked at it akin to getting a stack of CDs. It's a perfectly understandable mistake. Not everyone is as knowledgeable or passionate about the subject as this particular community is.
Really? O_o
It seems so absurd to me..
Anyway, if it's real and he understood, it's ok.

Anyway, if it's real and he understood, it's ok.
I grew up in a time where there was no such thing as the digital distribution of games. if your buddy's had a game, they could lend it to you and if you liked the game you would go out and buy it yourself after you returned your friends copy. Does it really seem that far out to you that i thought getting some games from a friend of mine would be OK?, was it then wrong for me to think that maybe i could get some of the games multiplayer to work? it should not seem so absurd to you.
