When I first made the account I probably subscribed to the newsletter, but after that I have clicked the unsub button below the email and unboxed all the check marks at least 3 times now and I still receive newsletters. This feels like gog.com is my biggest junk mail provider.....

Send a note to support. Sounds like the settings are broken? At any rate, https://www.gog.com/account/settings/subscriptions is where they're located - double check there.

Same problem here, can't get rid of it.
Looking for an answer, except putting hole GOG mail into the spam.

Thank you for searching first but the same answer applies. You need to directly talk to support about the issue.

Like almost every other online support forum, it's just your fellow customers here.

Oh and make sure you double check the provided link just to be sure.
I know im late to the party but I figured it out.

You gotta unsub from each of the tick boxes individually, click ofv into secury, come back and do the next one. Make sure it updates between each time.

Do all the sub boxes first before hitting the master unsub-from-all-marketing box.

Don't worry, I'm sure that all these people, that haven't been active in the forums for more than three years, are happy for your necro!

Hmm sounds like a stupid bug from whoever made that page. More and more it looks like a number of sites are thrown together and not well maintained.

I bet it works just as intended.
Question: did you claim a free giveaway recently (maybe even frequently, whenever GOG gives some game away for free)?
Each time you do that, your settings get overridden and you have to change them again.

You may think that sucks...but the truth is: you agreed to it - and you agree to it anew, every time you redeem a giveaway.

You are making assumptions there.

I got two newsletters last month, despite unsubscribing immediately after redeeming giveaways - after the first newsletter, I checked my settings, all unsubscribed, left the settings alone, and still got a newsletter a day or so later.

After redeeming another giveaway and unsubscribing again I haven't gotten anymore but something definitely broke there for me and probably for other people at different times too.

Being removed from the subscription list in not immediate (instant) and can apparently take a few days for your subscription to actually be removed...
This thing is still giving me hard time, I've pressed and checked newsletter sub for thousands of times now, I still can't manage to make GOG shut up about their stupid games
