pigdog: 93.1% completed.

I've included games that I won't play or won't continue as games completed.
But... that's cheating. :p
50 out of 172, so about 29%.

I thought I was becoming much more careful about only buying games that I intend to play in the very near future. However, so far this year I've bought 17 games on GOG and completed 5 of them, which strangely enough is also a 29% completion rate.
Almost none of my library is completed. A fact which just yesterday prompted me to undertake the following challenge: I will not buy another game until I have completed the campaign/main storyline of each game in my library that I have not yet beaten insofar as it is possible to do so.

This means I have to beat:
Commandos - Behind Enemy Lines + Commandos - Beyond the Call of Duty
Commandos 2
Commandos 3
Neverwinter Nights
Heroes II
American Conquest + Fight Back
Neverwinter Nights 2
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Heroes III
Battle Realms
System Shock 2
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
Don't Starve
Tomb Raider 1, 2 and 3
Caesar III
Alone in the Dark 1, 2 and 3
Baldur's Gate II
Fallout 1 & 2
Darklands
Stronghold
Stronghold: Crusader (Historical Campaigns, possibly the trails)
Unreal Tournament 2k4
Shadow Warrior (2013)
Death to Spies
Star Wars Battlefront II
Deus Ex
Blitzkrieg
Patrician III (If that is even possible)
To be perfectly honest, I doubt I've beaten even 2% of my library. I'm fairly sure it's over 1% though.

EDIT: Let's see here...
Baldur's Gate
Icewind Dale
Teenagent
Sam & Max Hit the Road
Sam & Max Save the World
Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space
Sam & Max The Devil's Playhouse
Tales of Monkey Island
Supreme League of Patriots - Episode 1
Supreme League of Patriots - Episode 2
Supreme League of Patriots - Episode 3
Wallace and Gromit's Episode 1
Wallace and Gromit's Episode 2
Wallace and Gromit's Episode 3
Wallace and Gromit's Episode 4
Syberia
Syberia 2
Knights of The Old Republic
Botanicula
Broken Sword 3
Costume Quest
The Longest Journey
Dust: An Elysian Tail
Edna & Harvey: The Breakout
Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes
Fez
Machinarium
Myst (not Masterpiece edition, but as far as I know, there's little to no in-game differnce)
Psychonauts
Torchlight
Treasure Adventure Game

Damn, that's... actually a lot more than I thought. And I might even include another two or three I don't remember whether I finished or not (Knights of The Old Republic 2, for one). Granted a few of those got unbundled and thus now account for three or four rather than one, but still...

76 GOG games out of 1008 finished = 7.539% completed. Not too bad, but still some gaming to be done before I can fully retire from gaming and start smoking pipe in a rocking chair.

Finished meaning that either I have really finished campaign or whatever, or I've played the game to death so I feel I've gotten all the money's worth of it already (e.g. some racing games like POD Gold or Moto Racer; but also e.g. Total Annihilation where I don't really feel like trying to finish the last few separate add-on missions, I'm done with the game already).

There were a couple where I've finished the base game earlier already, but not any expansion packs or add-on missions, e.g. Unreal (Gold) and Duke 3D. it varies whether I marked it as finished or not, mainly if I feel I have any urge to get back to the game. So I didn't mark Unreal as finished, but Duke 3D finished.

Also, quite many of them I had already finished before buying the GOG version, which helped me to reach that staggeringly high completion percentage.

As for King's Quest 5... for the life of me I can't recall for sure if I finished it or not. So I consider it unfinished.

Im pretty sure i havent even completed 1% of any game in my gog library....
I presume you meant only the GOG library, not all games across different services, platforms and machines? My reply was only regarding GOG game library.

I must say my completion rate was higher than I believed. I was first going to give a funny answer like "0.00001%" or something, fully believing that it is definitely under 1%, But no, apparently I have finished quite a lot of games regardless. Good to know I haven't totally wasted my life but actually achieved something.

According to my backloggery exactly 47% :)
GOG: 286 total

-44 finished = 15%
-62 in progress = 22%
- 25 abandoned = 9%
-155 backlog = 54%

Steam: 63 total

-13 finished = 21%
-10 in progress = 16%
-16 abandoned = 25%
-24 backlog = 38%

Other games: Keeps changing too much to accurately count, physical CDs/Dosbox/Scummvm/console emulation stuff etc all over the place, it's a jungle

Edit: My goal is not to complete 100%, my goal is to reduce backlog to 0%. This can only be achieved by being ruthless and honest with myself = quit a game when I'm not having fun. I try to give every game a fair chance but in worst case, I'll drop it after 1 - 1,5 hours.
Gaming is a fun-based pastime to me, not an achievement-based hobby. I get practically zero sense of achievement from gaming nowadays, and I don't regard the act of gaming as worthy of respect or something to identify with. Gaming wise, my respect only goes to content creators, i.e. programmers, musicians, sound designers, level designers, modders, 3D modelers & animators, texture & background painters / 2D artists, story writers etc.
(I am slightly amazed at people who can finish Spacechem without hints though, next step in brain evolution??)

I've completed 4 out of 528 games on GOG.
I have completed quite a few in my collection when they first released before GOG existed though.
Can it be a negative number?
I've marked 53 out of 254 as completed, which is about 20%. That's not the whole story though, there are different versions of some games on the catalogue that count separately, if I've completed one I've tagged them all, and some that I've marked completed were completed many years ago, perhaps in different versions or even on different platforms.

Generally the level of completion is just going down, unfortunately.
guys ive had this issue you are all talking about in the past
make sure you install 1-2 games and finish them, when you install more games you are tempted to start playing them and abandoning others

not to mention the games i like like darksiders 1 or super meat boy i finished them 100 %
Technically it is 50 of 87. But if you toss out free games that I got as joining or in promotions that I will probably never play and games that I got here to have but have already played to completion at least once somewhere else (usually in original old school box copies!) I'd be left with a backlog of a surprisingly small 6 games. Not too bad!
