KiNgBrAdLeY7: Bullying? Could qualify as such. I could easily break not only their faces, but their entire bodies in answer if i wanted, but those cretins have families and little children. Besides, best medicine for bullying is being totally insensitive to it, they get bored and quit most of the times and real fast, too (in other and in normal cases, at least).
If you think you're being bullied don't just stand there and be a dummy till they stop, don't hit them physically just speak with the manager about it, he might not take it lightly that his workers are wasting ink like that.

As for the ink itself, did you swallow any of it or it was simply poured on your head? If poured I don't think it should do any damage but blood droplets are a concern, I would visit a doctor about it. The best way to clear toxins and your body in general is to drink lots of water.

If you co workers have families and this may risk them getting fired it shouldn't be your concern, just like it wasn't theirs that you're sick ever since. Stand up for yourself.

This made me laugh and laugh, thank you.

You should watch "The New Detectives" or "Forensic Files", some don't necessarily sprinkle, they downright contaminate... and usually they're psychopaths.

It's one thing if it's an office prank and the OP has actually pulled pranks on those who have done unto him. But then again, you have to be careful about the pranks being played.

Difficult to tell if there was "bullying" going on or if it was just payback for an earlier smiting. I can say this from experience, only because when I was younger that I played pranks on my fellow workers and they returned the same. Most were harmless, but in retrospect (after growing older) they could have been very harmful to others.

It could range anywhere from rubber bands to silly putty , cable ties, a stinky fridge or an office chair. Apparently now toner is part of the arsenal.

I think you are the bullying target,so you have options:

1 Talk to Manager.
2 Look for outside work force help.
3 Resign.
4 Learn to fight
5 Punch their fucking heads in.
6 If done 5,then don't worry about 3.
As others have said:

I would strongly suggest bringing this to human resources. Their behavior is not only childish, it is illegal.

If they won't do anything, it may be time to find another job and a lawyer.

You can make a lot of money from stupid businesses -- if it's all documented (by you and them).

There are some start-up companies with young folk who always have that still immature but "playful" attitude. In this day and age, yes, it is an HR nightmare; however, if the OP contributed to some type of prank retribution, all bets are off.

On that same token there are established companies with workers who play pranks; the nature of the prank is usually commensurate with the maturity of the individual.

If the OP was being bullied by co-workers (and that's a really down-right outrageous case of bullying), then yes, they should seek the services of their direct superior and HR.

However, I think the OP *might* have been a victim of a prank.
Bah, as long as i recover i don't care about idiots like those. I have eaten their kind raw on my face for years now, i don't move, i don't budge, i am not getting excited.

Thankfully i don't have a NEED for their, this specific, job and i can fare well enough, until i get a new one. I am going to quit.

Those people are not even worth my spit, there is no need to report them. Besides, without evidence and with their good working profile and image for years now, i might get screwed instead.

Also, working rights (like covering medical expenses) this part of the globe is faqed up, even worse than in third world countries. There is no point to start a campaign for compensation, there is zero point in such a thing.

But i pity myself. I trained myself for months to get a good body and ability to wreck any wisecrack i choose, but still i get sh*t thrown in my face all over again and leave them untouched again, this time by the ability of choice. Damn, a badass is only born i guess, cannot become trully...

For doc i have to wait till monday, damn. At least blood leak stopped, but the inside of my nose swelled...

KiNgBrAdLeY7: Thanks for the replies. Doc and Materials Safety Data Sheets is no1 to be checked at very first chance, HP support contact no2 and quitting job no3, first thing new week comes.

What makes me worry though is that they themselves use precaution measures like paper/surgery masks and vacuum cleaner when working in the back lab, while they intentionally put me to operate there without any, the first few times. And even then, they themselves are constantly coughing and wheezing like elderly people, as if they have chronic asthma, even if they are healthy and young themselves, too. Which probably translates into "long overexposure to it CAN have some aftereffects ANYWAY"!

About the job, blast it. They are rude, they sabotaged me (and in health related issue, god damn it) and while i keep doing my best to aid them in ANYTHING, not only work related, they act as if i had been their slave.
DUDE. First of all see a doctor, you don't know if it's because of the toner or something else entirely. Secondly, bullying isn't going to stop just because you grin and bear it/pretend it's not happening. They're just going to keep doing worse things to you because you've let them think they can get away with it. Now, I'm obviously not suggesting you start beating people up, because then you'd be opening yourself to lawsuits, but call them on their stupid shit when they try something, don't just let it happen.

Depending on how big the company is there may not be a HR representative to talk to, but what about the boss-company owner-everyone's direct suppervisor? Is (s)he around? If yes does (s)he take part in the bullying? What would happen if you made him/her aware? If it turns out that your health issue is because of the toner, then you should be suing both the bulllies and the company.

Director is old pal of theirs. And about last sentence, here in our place, things never work thatta way, come on, you know better... Poor fool alone without hard evidence suing a big company and people who drink tsipoura with its director every saturday? Nah, i don't have so much extra money to pay resulting fines, lawyers of both sides and failed trial procedures! Besides, i am going to quit. Street bums are better persons than working people like those, even if i won't end up a street bum anytime soon, myself...

I know, unfortunately, it's a whether-one-has-the-means-to-start-trouble issue in the end. Yeah, if they're all chummy with the boss there's no point complaining. I hope your next job doesn't have such an asshole infestation.

But everybody has one! I hope that was metaphorically speaking. ;)
