I do not use Twitter, FB nor anything else. I'm surprised people are selling their privacy so easily. I can partially understand that they can be source of money for some people also, but these "social media" are completely not needed to socialize with friends.

Aside from that i totally agree with Tauto.
It's enough bullshit already with SJWs finger-snapping instead of clapping cause "they might trigger some people and scare them". The silly thing is when media sites and broadcasting quote socmed posts as "news". I can understand when they use it as commentary but when the whole "news" story is based off a tweet or YT video or FB/instagram post? Where's the actual journalism?

You, my friends of the forum, should see The Sun and get enlightened. To by any means get attention and readers.... is not a new thing.

You probably would have to ignore that as well. The journalism is still there, but journalists need to get paid (by the customer, not by companies). So, we better start paying again for good old journalism. Won't make the social media crap go away but at least will make them affecting you much less in the future.

Bottom line: Get an online subscription of some serious media and ask them to filter out any social media crap before serving you the news.
