I'm curious, what is your particular reason to ask? Are you actually hoping someone will give you the answer you seek?
A multitude of thing in daily life adding up caused my mind to overflow and get upset and unstable. And when I'm upset and unstable I want to solve all problems in the world RIGHT HERE and RIGHT NOW and I"m forgot I'm not the Messiah and that even Messiahs can't save us.

Thanks everyone for not letting this thread devolve into a lot of political bickering and insults. And if it does, I'll contact a blue to lock it, but for now, things are chill here, thanks for that..

Sorry for opening it, I had a momentary lapse of reason. I'm glad I put down the brakes quickly by cancelling work for today and instead go to work for a chat with the professional at our workplace, who was willing to be a listening ear for a while. Like catpower1980 said:

So thank you all for your replies and just let the thread die, that war, as grievous as it is, isn't something me or anyone here can stop. Not that I don't hope it will stop, but it's up to me to help make my own community bearable or even better liveable, not to save the world.

Assad's troops seem to be close to reconquering Aleppo, so maybe most of the fighting will end soon anyway.

No. 5000 criminals with weapons made by europeans are moving towards Aleppo. Berry pushed them out from Iraq.
More Russian bombing required.

I don't even know what the world series is...I guess it's one of those "American only" sports like baseball? Btw, is it true that Americans cultivate sports like baseball or football which almost nobody else plays because they just can't bear the thought of losing to other countries in anything whatsoever?

I really do wonder though why it's called the world series...America is not the world and almost nobody outside the US cares about baseball...pretty strange.
