Mungrul: Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but my Galaxy on Windows 10 launches at start-up no matter what I do. I've disabled the option in the application and in MSConfig, yet the damn thing keeps coming back.
It also has a weird interface fault where if I go full screen on my main monitor, whenever I click on the Galazy window, it brings Firefox to the front. Doesn't launch a link or anything, just can't be clicked on. I've found the way around it is to move the Galaxy window using the Windows and cursor keys, but it's still a bit of a pain.
Windows 10 now automatically re-opens all running programs at startup.
There is no way to turn off this default behavior. You have to quit Galaxy before you reboot, or use a nonstandard shutdown/reboot.
The command line shutdown /r /t 0 /f will do a clean reboot.
Use shutdown /s /t 0 /f for a shutdown. I put these in .bat files and stuck 'em in my start menu.
The window moving problem, I can't help with.
