Hmm... I've got 62 of my 388 games marked "Completed", but that's including a bunch of games I finished on other platforms (Splinter Cell, Sands of Time, etc., all on Gamecube). Others are games that I completed before joining GOG (Bioshock, Divine Divinity, etc.). That being said, my 1053 hours played (!) are mostly with a few choice games like XCom, the Trails series, etc.

One day I'll get around to some of the games in my backlog. One day... when I have a computer that can actually run some of these games (Witcher 3 ran at all of 15 FPS when I tried on this laptop, and I don't even dare try Kingdom Come: Deliverance ... heck, even RiME was not running at a playable speed on my 940MX).
I have about 1,500 games between Steam, GOG, and other services. On Steam I have about 120 that I would qualify as "excited to play soon." Soon being a relative term. Probably the same number on GOG.
I have:
100% - 128 games totally
22,7% - 29 games completed
11,7% - 15 games marked as too buggy, too boring or impossible to play on today HW due to bad control system
7,8% - 10 games waiting for new GPU (I am using integrated one)

(there are many freebies included, just in case I always take all)
I have 426 games.
4 completed with no desire to return, 11 overall that I've decided aren't for me, 13 completed games that I wouldn't mind returning to.
10 games that are marked as directly in backlog.
Somewhere in the range of 36 games actively installed from GOG.
Numerous games that I'd love to try but cannot directly without some troubleshooting due to operating system choices. (Linux.)
I would say around 1 500 games.

misteryo: I've completely made peace with the fact that I play most games for an hour or two and then ditch them forever. Right now I am focusing on playing games that I am excited to play, that I will have fun with. It is working. I'm enjoying my gaming time a lot more than I used to.

I don't worry about "backlog."

I focus on controlling my monthly spending and on only buying things I'm excited about.
That's my philosophy too!
I surely bought many games (especially old ones) for sentimental reason, but today I concentrating only on the games I really like and I don't care how long my que is long.
If enjoy what I'm playing now that's a deal

(I can't see my answer)

Around 1100 on gawg, and a few more on my bookshelf ;-)
211 games owned
45 completed
Played most of them, several games beaten without their expansion packs.
I have no idea. A lot. I keep going back to the ones I like. Tempted to add Kenshi to the list, but right now I'm a day late and a dollar short.
I have played almost all the games I own. Seriously!
I wish I could have so many to play I wouldn't know where to begin.
Imagine this group 3,000 years ago.
Would it be a rock, shell, or twig collection
that we would be bragging about?

It looks like there are 3 main groups:
Collectors
Hoarders/Savers
Completionists

Personally, I have enough games
(I don't even come close to most), that if
GOG ceased to exist, I'd be entertained for many years.....
Hundred and hundreds of games. I've had to stop collecting physical games because my new place doesn't have a lot of good places to store them. Honestly as much as it saddens my I should probably stop buying games altogether.
Right now I have about 47 games. I have some games, that I have got as freebies, like these with buying Ultimate Doom and most of these I won't play. So these are hidden in my library.

Effectively I have about 40 games, and about half of these I did finish in the past.

And then there are some games I do play occasionally (like Moral Kombat 2, Spelunky, Zombie Night Terror...)

This thread isn't about bragging, but indicating how large a portion of your bought games you haven't played yet. Btw ppl it would be fun if you could also indicate which of your unplayed games stand out as a game you should have started playing already.
Let's just say it with a music box video:
