With a melon?!
I would like to see more movies and possibly ebooks, but I do not like the encroaching Galaxy client.

Also when checking what has been updated in your account is very hard. So I just down load the lot again.
They should fix that as it used to work where you knew what to download.

GOG offers DRM free games, so as long as they continue to do so, I will be happy. However, if they ever force Galaxy to be required, then I will leave GOG.
The release of Lula: The Sexy Empire and Hunie Pop surprised me today, I didn't think they'd actually come here considering all the stories I've read about games refused, it's good that GOG accepts such games.

I think they're in the right direction, and my complaints are only 2:

1) The shallow state of notifications for game updates

2) Lack of communication from the GOG team when a game isn't released with a Mac/Linux version where it is otherwise present in other Stores (Humble Bundle/Steam just to give an example).

Other than that I hope they'll continue like this, they've brought so many releases that my wallet can't keep up :-)

Navagon: - A veritable slew of new games and publishers. GOG really broke the back of the wishlist and with many unreleased games it just seem to be a matter of time.

- The Movies section could have been a good addition, but there's neither much in the way of independent cinema and certainly no big name releases. Now it seems to have been mothballed.

- Galaxy is a welcome addition and should, when done, give GOG games all the main benefits of Steam without the drawbacks.

- That said, Galaxy is taking a whole hell of a lot of time to make significant progress. Maybe they're working on a major new version or something. But whatever the case is, it's in danger of becoming detrimental. Pushing it in an incomplete state through Witcher 3 and others is a mistake and one that could really backfire.

- Also should be noted that Galaxy is pretty hostile to people on limited connections. I'm not, but many are and have complained about this.

- The game shelf is a lot worse. I miss manual ordering and the old boxes. Mandatory pagination isn't something I'm fond of either.

- Regional prices and restrictions are definitely not welcome inclusions. But GOG's handling them about as well as can be hoped.

- The forums still have all the same problems they've had since day one.

In short, if GOG can deal with the major technical shortcomings it's currently faced with then they're mostly on the right track.
They should really discontinue Galaxy before it kills us all.

Or, add hats.

Either one is fine.

Hats.
I'm mostly a happy goger.

But I don't like hearing about any censorship at all, (an after effect of having manhunt 2 literally disintegrated by censorship) regional laws not withstanding, that's up to your country. Every game should remain how they were originally intended. The odd small change or adjustment needed for the sake of releasing it acceptable.

Also getting non optimal versions of games, I read Tomb Raider is missing some extra levels, some music and something about nerf-y resolution is not so cool.

I've been very happy with them lately, but I foresee difficulties if they do not relax their strict "curation" model. With the recent releases of all-time classics such as Doom, Wolf3D, System Shock, and the LucasArts games, there are fewer and fewer "blockbuster" classic (pre-2000) games left for them to release. I would hope GOG starts opening their doors to more obscure (but still good!) games from that time period, or I fear we may stop seeing 90's releases altogether.
All I can say about gog: Carry on \m/

There's still a ton of those out there. I'd love to see Big Red Racing show up, and there's quite a few educational titles from when educational titles were actually fun.

I think any game where the dialog goes "Why that ain't my belly button! 't ain't my finger neither" needs to be here.

Its generally ok. The whole galaxy polava ongoing is a nuisance, and if it ever becomes more "optional" I will opt out. And the release of the anime porn crap this week has really highlighted the flaws in the curation system. There are thousands of great oldies out there, and newer games some don't seem to get worked on, others are refused for being to niche, and yet cartoon crap for sex starved adolescents seems to be fine.

Oh, and the forum software could be improved. And why is it that each release is more expensive than the last, prices seem to be going up a lot.
I'm quite happy here. As long as gog.com keeps it DRM-free and keeps updating old games to run on new OS-versions, I'm happy. I couldn't care less about Galaxy and movies, but since it's not forced on me, I don't mind.
I just want more games.

Taz Wanted, Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers, The Emperor's New Groove, 102 Dalmatians, American McGee's Alice, Impossible Creatures(If GoG revives this, and add multiplayer servers, it is going to be amazing), Harry Potter games(not lego), Timon & Pumbaa's Jungle Games, Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command, Mafia 1, X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse, Enter the Matrix, Arena Wars, Black Diamond Fever, Battle for the Middle Earth Anthology.

Would love if these were polished or reworked.
Love y'all.

Way to sum it up... too right.
