SAFE OFFLINE - YES
SAFE IN MULTIPLAYER - Probably not
HDR - SO FAR YES ( still in testing ).

So far I've tested The Witcher 3 ( Frame gen now works on my 3070 TI ), as well as Ratchet and Clank! - Alan Wake 2 needs a beast of a GPU still lol, also working with Cyberpunk!
sounds interesting
but but but is it legal? (no of course not) Would be nice though. I tried *frame gen in Forspoken since that game supports both variants but it was hardly recommendeable. I had to end my testing with the different options and quality levels because i started to feel pretty dizzy and my stomach reacted in a very awkward way.

(*fsr framegen, i don't have 4000 rtx card but a 3000)

I, for one, think that’s awesome. I have a 3090 and couldn’t justify the upgrade to the 40 series. I also tried FSR 3 on Forspoken. I thought it was amazingly well-implemented. I dunno what the other guy is talking about. I’m tempted to give this a go. Then again…..I might play around too much and force myself into a repair or reinstallation. Though not terribly a bad thing, I don’t have the patience for that today. Have you tried it? Can you post a video ? I’m wondering if this might only be actually good for the higher end 30 series cards: 3080, 3080ti, 3090, 3090ti. I say that because I know that framegen in general is not good unless you can already maintain 60 fps. Nonetheless, very interesting indeed.

If your frame rates are really poor prior to using framegen then yeh it will feel off! If however you are getting OK frames, and then framegen on top really does help. The Witcher for example was doing 50fps but adding on frame gen it's now doing 80/90 and so so much better! Some games work better than others

Ah, yes, "frame generation" the bullshit magic that keeps getting trotted out because devs can't be arsed to optimize games anymore and/or push hardware requirements beyond the necessary.

P-E-S: bullshit magic
Not to be confused with actual, repeatable, provable, scientific magic.
It's easy to optimize a single textured game for 30 fps, like they used to.
80, 90 and higher framerates in 4k with Raytracing in 4k resolution ... that demands top hardware. It's not so much a question of optimization (edit: where "optimization" for thousands of different hardware setups is off the table anyway). If framegen helps to make the game look smoother, then I'm all up for it.

Okay, still.. without using amd tech i find the game (forspoken) to be more than okay looking. I have more games where I usually skip FSR if that is the only upsizer included. My usecase is also a bit different since i was looking for ways to get the most bang with the least bucks and i hoped the new FSR would provide another option in the ever lasting quest to ran everything on a load of at most 100Watts with 60 fps and extraordinaire graphs.

Still... your work has me interested by a lot so who knows... i might try it out with the witcher and see if i can hit a decent amount of fps with extreme graphs setting and powerlimited gpu

This increased my performance in CP2077 immensely. I was able to use more RT features and the game looks SPECTACULAR now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!!
