I am very disappointed with how these people conduct their business. I purchased System Shock and found out I cannot play it on my Mac. I never downloaded it and tried to contact these vultures for a refund that same day. I was not this angry at first and thought they had the common decency to give me a reply. Their time limit for a refund has now expired and I have been completely ignored. If the games they sell are available through someone else, I would recommend purchasing from the alternative choice. These people clearly do not have any value for their customers.

As long as you've contacted them in time it doesn't matter if the refund period has expired.
If you deserve one you'll get one.
Sorry you've had a bad experience, the Gog support can be a bit hit and miss.

As you sent the ticket within the refund time limit I can't imagine it would be an issue, your best bet is probably to message Firek (he's even online now) and see if he can help.

Please post your ticket number in here, if a blue sees it that can easier look up your case, But if you never downloaded it and contacted them prior to the 30 days they WILL hold up their end of the deal.
You know sometimes emails can get lost, maybe they did end up in your SPAM folder? I have seen it myself, only like 4 of all emails regarding GOG ended up in SPAM.
But if you contact them with your old ticket number they WILL sort it out ;)

A) Your refund time hasn't expired. Your ticket has a date on it and if that date is within the time limit of your purchase then it is still good, and you will get your return., it just might take a while as they are very short staffed.

B) It is very clear on the game page that SS does not run on Mac. Don't you feel you need to harbor a little of the responsibility in that regard? How is it anyone's fault but your own if you ignored the specs?

People make mistakes. :P
I never noticed The Longest Journey didn't support Windows 7 until support told me. xD

It's as tinyE said. They'll see when you sent the ticket in.
Please at least wait for a response before you decry how horrible the customer service is. If they didn't get back to you within a week or so, then you'd have reason to complain. The staff doesn't work weekends and holidays.

Yeah they do, I do, and he will get a refund, I'd just like the slightest bit of an acknowledgment that he made a slip here. :P

He did say the time limit expired, wouldn't that mean it's been 30 days?

You remember not so long ago, another user complained similar and the email was stuck in his SPAM folder, at least he was honest about and we all had a good lough ;)

I figured he meant that he sent it in, say, 2 days before the 30 days were up, and then GOG support hasn't gotten back to him within those 2 days. Something like that?

Possible.... sometimes tickets get lost , i know some tickets slip through the support system , meaning you couldn't get any response at all ... experienced this multiples times -_-

or they are lying and can't manage to take care about of all tickets... in the end the result is the same for the customer = no answer (usually that doesn't occur with purchases issues / technical problem with a game) , BUT an increasing numbers of tickets didn't get any human answer.in 2016... and from whatever angle you try to look at this problem , that's not good...

Ah, yeah that would make sense.

I still have a ticket somewhere that I never got a reply to from years ago. :P
These things don't always work efficiently.
I've interned at a servicedesk once, people first checked all new and incoming tickets before actually checking the older ones.
So some had to wait quite a while due to that.
