I hope GOG tries to expand the www.gog.com/reclaim program with more old titles that people may own on disc.

I for one would love to get my Caesar IV CD key recognised so I don't have to buy it again just to have a digital copy.

Any CD games you would like added the most?
Personally, it would be nice if I could reclaim my Ultima Collection CD (which has no DRM, incidentally) to get Ultima 1-8 onto my GOG account. (This collection didn't contain Ultima 9 (I think it came out before Ultima 9), but it did contain a preview video.)
Like many have said before, it's very likely that not many rights holders retained the full list of their retail keys. And most probably won't even bother to check.

Probably. But then, isn't this something that GOG should have checked before launching the Reclaim program?
There is a chance for games published by Topware Interactive
...Barry? Is that you?

Yeah but there should still be a way to tell if its a genuine key, after all even now when you install the old game from CD it request the CD key, and only the right key works, so there has to be a way it checks whether the key is valid or not. Same could be done here.

I wouldn't mind either, I have at least 7 or 7 boxloads of games sitting here...

There isn't. The CD-Key check more installations used is an algorithm that takes a string and checks if it returns true. If the algorithm is known, one can generate a key that returns true, as evident by the plethora of keygens that were used back in the day.
An example of an algorithm for a key is the Luhn algorithm that credit cards use. A key that passes the Luhn algorithm check doesn't mean it's a valid credit card number.
Yeah, That's why I have kept photo of receipt and my Elder Scroll IV:Oblivion disc.
Now GO.. GO.. GO.. GOG. Expand it like legs of pornstar!!! :P

Shit. I should have thought about that. Hell, I could have gotten half the catalogue for free. ;P

Bro it's 5th anniversary edition and don't need steam.
Brought it for about 2.5$ two week ago from near by city.

Hmm.. this sentence is strange to me. If it's just a digital copy, why do you need it? And if you really want it, why can't you buy it? I would also like to know the difference between pirating the digital copy if you already own the physical copy, I mean getting it free "legitimately" won't add anything to GOG's revenue which is the main argument against piracy.
I'd like to connect my Stardock account to my Gog account .

I'd rather you call me shit stain than bro. I hate that term. :P Quite frankly it's below you to use. People with severe head injuries use 'bro'. :P
