With 3! games due for release somewhere this year, this studio seems to take up the stars in a not so granted way!

Maybe you've heard about Terra Invicta. a stellar strategy game brought to you by the guys who are responsible for the hugely popular xcom mod " the long war "

I just noticed this , maybe inspired by that one sci fi series ( you know, with that lame head figure who's hurt but still gets all the girls.... and that whole mars earth belters conflict... and those aliens etc ) , rts with 4x influences with combat that seems reminiscent of nexus : the jupiter incident which is a good thing!

Alliance of the Sacred Suns is the third title due for release somewhere this year. More of a traditional 4x then the other 2 and maybe.. i don't know inspired also by that 4x gem from the past GoG decided to share with us just a couple of months ago ? Also with sun in the title ;-)

I do hope that gogotians are not left out of this equation !
It's a publisher though.
All those games are from three different developer studios.
I don't see what publishers do today really.. But if it gets more sci-fi games out there it could be a good thing.

It could be they provide the engine and some expertise in different fields, but , that's , just , theorizing aloud

I'll be here then too, but the original post asked about whether we'd be coming to GOG, the coming soon pages answer that question. I'm a huge fan of GOG, so I'd been looking forward to answering this question. :)

Personally I looking foward for Old World, looks awesome! And I'm not a person that play too many strategy titles, just games like XCOM, Iron Harvest, Civilization and Heroes of Might and Magic series, but this one catch my eye instantaneously. Probably I will pick it on day 1.

While those are certainly important, I think providing some level of funding is often still a primary function. It's difficult to make a game without financial support.

Wonderful to hear, thank you for the kind words! Just to note on the timeline, Zimerius posted this a few months before we came on GOG, and I saw it then, so I made a note to followup once we got the games on the store.

Yes, we provide funding too, though it does differ from game to game, some have their own development funding and only want the marketing aspects.
Old World looks like it could be great, sounds like it has a nice OST which I hope comes here or is available.

They are also including GOG in a playtest, which typically never happens.
