Fenixp: Yeah, most things were fixed, as detailed in my previous post. As for Cataclysm, it's a stand-alone game [..]
As for LAN support, in this release, it's also removed from the classic editions, so...
most things were fixed = perfect!
Cataclysm is stand-alone game = ah ok, then.
(music changed) = mm..
LAN removed from the classic editions = WTF?? >:(
Don't forget the mods!!! I love mods and this is a very well modded game. BSG, Star Wars, Star Trek, and many more. I just hope they update their mods to work with the patch GoG is on. For some reason the GoG version is above the steam version and some mods aren't compatible until they catch up. This is the same problem I have with Sins, I just wanted to play STA3 and a couple others but the game version is too high.

Unfortunately some mods are only available for download through steam. As if I didn't have enough cause to hate that pestilence.

It's a shame that the source code for Cataclysm was lost. That was the reason why they couldn't "remaster" it. But it's nice that Homeworld Remastered still includes the original HW1 and 2. It's definitely a series every gamer should play!

I must be the only one who thinks the FPS trick for H1 is cool. :P

I remember trying the "Pilot view" trick in the original HW1 and then I wondered why it wasn't available in HW2. But can that be easily replicated in the Remastered version?

I doubt it but I've never tried.
