I hear, via Reddit, it's really good!

Hmm, looks good. I just hope they don't carry on ignoring the potential customers here. Maybe when Galaxy is done, eh?
some brave gog'ers created another thread, reminding gearbox :)

This'll go well. ;)
I hate it when they quote mod support and steam workshop in the same sentence. It's like modding didn't exist before steam workshop came about. Sites like Nexus, ModDB, Simtropolis, etc don't exist in the steam universe.

Okay, that doesn't seem like a good idea, pissing off people we're trying to win over. *shrugs* But, eh, I can't control people; not really my problem. :-P

In any case I'll keep tweeting Gearbox once in a while.

Reasonable people would never be pissed off by what has been said in that thread. (Though based on what I've seen in the last few days I'm not sure Gearbox falls under that category.)

Well, anyway, if anybody wants to tag along on this tweet I made to Homeworld/Gearbox:

No, but given that the mod who locked the previous topic said that new topics on the same subject would be locked... this doesn't seem like a good idea.

EDIT: Huh, apparently a lot of people who are intimately familiar with the original HW1 are annoyed that the remaster plays like HW2. I know they ported HW1 to the HW2 engine, but they should have then modified said engine to replicate the correct gameplay for HW1. Balance in RTS games is important and it seems like they've screwed it up. Hopefully they'll patch HW1R to play like HW1.

Funnily enough, I don't have any social media accounts so the next best thing I could do was leave a support ticket to them. https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/home

A lot of the time I get excuses from devs/publishers such as; the paperwork..., steamworks is too hard to remove, DRM Free means piracy.

Haha, yeah, that's the best one... like those games Steam only aren't 'available'... it's only delayed by a few hours... :-P Although it would be nice indeed that no GOG-ers would 'release' the games.

That's good news for me. I tried to play the first one and could never get used to how it was played. If the remastered version plays like the second which I've heard is easier to play I might try this on a sale.

Yet many prefer the workshop because convenience > everything else.
