Dumb question: If I want to play Homeworld Emergence online with other people, how do I do that? Do I run the game from GOG Galaxy, then select LAN? Or do I need to go with some 3rd party VPN like Hamachi?

Since this game predates the existence of GOG Galaxy, there shouldn't be any need to run it through Galaxy for multiplayer. However that's all I can say on the matter though, sorry. (I guess since Hamachi is suppose to simulate LAN through the internet - right? - you may need that if you don't have people on-location to play with.)

Thanks for the reply. The old servers the game ran on are no longer operational, so the only real option is LAN. I guess what I was asking was; is GOG Galaxy a VPN? It seems like as of right now, the game is only available as single player.

Psycho, looks like the only way to still play this is with GameRanger.
