Purchased this a while ago, installed galaxy, installed the game, won't run. Why can't I just download the game and play it without all the bull shit that just gets in the way?

Install both vc_redist.x86.exe and vc_redist.x64.exe, then restart your system.

If that doesn't help, you can try navigating to the game installation folder in File Explorer, then launching the game executable by itself without GOG Galaxy. Going about it this way, you won't have access to the features it provides, like multiplayer, leaderboards, cloud saves, and achievements.

Why has the GOG website become a nightmare to navigate? There seems to be no direct link to your library. All good, they seem to use the same word "games" for a number of different links. Makes it confusing.
