Like a boss.

Hollow Knight, the charmingly morbid Metroidvania about a bug's life and many deaths, just received another free update called Lifeblood.

It is crawling with bug fixes, optimizations, and welcome tweaks, while also adding a brand new boss (which comes with its own kick-ass music track!), custom map markers, and additional sound effects and voices, among other things.
NO
NO NO NO NO

I thought it's Gods and Glory already. :(
C'mon Team Cherry let me throw more money at you.
Release it on switch already.
Please, Team Cherry.
I honestly can't keep track of all the updates and additional content anymore. It's super cool that they're adding stuff to the game, but at some point, I just want to be able to sit down and play the game knowing that it's feature complete.

I want to play this game, but the way this team is going about it makes me feel like I'm being punished if I do; either I miss out on content, or I have to play it multiple times to get all the content when new stuff drops. I appreciate that it's free, but I also would like to sit down with a feature-complete version.
Nice to see this released finally to all. I've had it for a while on Galaxy via the beta feature.
Khudos!

Although I haven't played this since I first finished it and my backlog is waaaaaay too big.

I will definitely go back to it... eventually. :P

You don't have to play several times, just keep your savegame and go back to it when there's new content.

Gods&Glory is going to be last content pack (i.e. full game); after that, they're going to release DLC with Hornet as a playable character. So if you want to wait, just wait for Gods&Glory.

Good to know. I played maybe 30 minutes or so of the game a little while back and liked it, so I'm excited to finally be able to run through the whole thing once that launches.
Nice! I like developers who keep supporting and adding to their games.
Awesome game, awesome devs, absolutely a must have for every gamer!

GOG.com: The update will be available for Linux at a later date.
Of course, Linux users are second-class citizens so we should obviously expect to get the update weeks or months after everyone else. What was I thinking getting excited about this post?
Great game and my favorite metroidvania type game ever, I've recently been playing it again for that 100% savegame, really enjoying the challenges. I'm not too happy the Linux version won't be here for the weekend though, it's the only time of the week I truly have free time to play.
