Lords of The Underground were pretty big at that time. Its a group from New Jersey and their first release was fire, second Lp was also good with some classics. I don't think they are active anymore but I have been to their concert couple years ago and it was great. Running into crowd and performing alongside people

Ugh, the radio friendly version. This actually reminds me of those days before I had internet access, when my only source for listening to the latest rap music for free was the so called music television. Damn, I'm glad to live in 2015 now.
