The post reads to me as saying that women are portrayed in these games as objects and that has a knock-on effect for actual women, not that we should be concerned for the fictional women.

1) If porn games humiliate and harm real women - why do they play them themselves?
2) Porn games that "objectify men", aimed specifically at the female audience, also exist, although there are fewer of them. What, it's time for us to start crying on the forums about how these terrible games ruin our lives?)
3) Does using a fictitious woman as the target of a beating also harm real ones as a result of the domino effect? If yes, will we ban a huge number of games of different genres? If not, why, what's the difference? After all, both cases can be called a bad attitude towards fictional women, which promotes the same in real life.

PS: Not in all porn games, female characters are just walking boobs. The fact that someone judges the entire genre by the worst examples is just a clear indicator of the stupidity of a person.

In general, I rarely do any micromanaging in active features or even remapping controls in games.
But I would definitely like this option and would use it actively.
If somebody like those titles, fine, have your fun...for me those are not games and I'd like to keep them out of my sight for good.

I don't have the slightest problem with what the topicstarter is asking for. On the contrary, the more opportunities users have to customize the site "for themselves" - the better. But I'm seriously triggered by people like FrodoBaggins who yell "porn games/Mortal Kombat/Counter Strike is an evil that has a bad effect on people, ban them!".
As a child, I played GTA and did all sorts of bad things there, but I didn’t become a criminal. I played a lot of fighting games and shooters (including trash like Thrill Kill), but I didn't beat and kill people. I play erotic and porn games, but I still don't see real women as a walking vehicle to satisfy my lust, I don't see rape as something good or even just acceptable, etc. Do I have some kind of superhuman immunity to the harmful effects of bad games? Or is it because games don't have that impact, the real sources of the problem lie elsewhere, and some people are just trying to find someone easy to pin down as the culprit? And for the sake of their witch hunt, they try to write down other people as villains, they believe that they have the right to forbid these people what does not contradict the laws, etc.

No the only difference is the excuse used to try to justify it.

Whenever it's because it supposedly makes peoples violent in real life, is the work of the devil or the overused "think of the children", it's always the same sort of BS excuses used by all those wanting to censor music, D&D, books, movies, video games, adult content, etc... they always have a "good reason" in their mind but it all boils down to "I don't like / am offended by something therefore nobody should be able to enjoy it".

I think shooters and fighting games are harmful. They instill in people a craving for violence, because of which they then go to kill. Ban! I think platformers are harmful - because of them, children then go jumping on roofs and die. Ban! Etc. With a certain desire, evil and harm can be found even in some cute children's game.
