Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight
Often described as a 2D Dark Souls, Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight follows priestess Kaho as she tries to rid the land of a curse. Roll to dodge and fight enemies and Soulslike boss monsters with bow and arrow and your trusty swordlike maple leaf.

Bloodrayne Betrayal
I never got into the earlier 3D Bloodrayne games, but this is Way Forward's take on the character. If anything, Way Forward have shown they are adept at 2D hand drawn character animation, and it shows here. While the mechanics aren't as fluid as in Shantae, the visuals still pop. Slash baddies with your twin swords and finish them up with your guns. Bite enemies in the neck to regain some health or to infect them so that you can blow them up.

Rabi Ribi
A Metroidvania that tries to cute you to death. An ordinary rabbit wakes up one morning to find she's been transformed into a human girl wearing a Playboy bunny suit in a land of other cute human girls wearing much the same thing. In addition to the other elements Metroidvanias are known for, where you explore and find items and skills to unlock new areas, Rabi Ribi takes after the bullet hell shooters, where boss fights see you dodging intricate patterns and returning with your magic spells and hammer whacks.

This Is The Police
A gritty comic book style game featuring low poly count, almost minimalistic graphics. It is divided into two segments. The story telling part where you watch the hardboiled day to day drama of the disgraced chief of police while he counts down the days towards his retirement. And the dispatching part where you manage a crew of cops, a few detectives, and one swat team, and then send them out to answer calls, solve crimes, and stop high risk situations. Each cop is not a faceless pawn. They each have their own needs and personalities, as well as differing adeptness ratings that can rise and fall. Do you send out that ten star rookie with the two hundred star veteran in the hopes the ten star might gain points? Or do you keep him back for the milk runs for fear he might botch the important calls or worse yet, get killed?

Mystik Belle(also only on Steam)
It's utterly bonkers how much fun I'm having with this game. It's also another Metroidvania that goes for charm, but one with a "school of monsters and witches" atmosphere of cute meets ghoulish. Little Belle MacFae has been accused of ruining an important witch brew, a crime she didn't commit, and risks expulsion. She gets one shot to gather the ingredients to recreate the brew before the night is over. Run and jump onto platforms Castlevania style as you roam the halls of your school and beat baddies with whacks from your broom or shoot them with your fireball spells. Find key items to solve puzzles by using the right item on the right interacting point to progress some more in the adventure.
