Please complete the Captcha to continue. It's nothing personal, just a crippling fear of robots.
I dont want your captcha. I dont care about your discounts in comparison to your captcha. And its personal for me. And you should properly say in the Email that you require captcha instead of dishonestly tricking people into clicking just to punish them with captcha.


Edit: And the site doesnt even display any captcha for me.

I am opposed to this kinda thing in general.
However your question asks "so opposed": I am "so opposed" to captcha due to past negative experiences with them. (Thats the "personal" thing I was referring to.)

Logically it doesnt even make sense. There are purchasable captcha solvers available which cost very little in comparison with the cost of the games. IMO they are just too lazy to implement something properly working and instead harass customers with captcha.

I wasn't trying to be insulting. You just seem very opposed to them and I was curious since I've never seen them as being particularly onerous. I'm not aware of any way a captcha could affect a person negatively, other than having to try multiple times. But I've never had a problem with one.

The most obvious way is them (technically) not working. For example I remember a thread on some mods (nexusmods?) site which was full of complaints about their captchas, many of those due to it being near impossible to log in due to the captcha. If you are a "normalized" user accepting all google stuff (etc) you may never run into this kind of problem but for some people/situations this kinda stuff can turn into a major obstacle. Its IMO similar to DRM: Due to the (percieved) necessity to distinct between humans and robots artificial obstacles (against robot programmers) are introduced which can then (similar to DRM) end up making stuff not work for the human users.

As captcha is relevant (due to it being used) to the topic it was IMO ok and fitting to bring it up. I would want to be warned of captcha too if I were to read this thread first. For people who use browser security measures (like me) captchas can be a major problem making the whole thing worse than pointless.

(The rest of my posts were answering questions. I dont think its wrong to answer questions in the thread were they are asked. You quoted my original post so unless that was a mistake you werent referring to the actual discussion anyway.)
