Cool choice of games. How's it goin' so far?
I didn't had time at all to play game the last couple of weekends. But I'm about 25% done with Mad Max. And if Blood and Wine will be released, I'll have to free up a lot of space for TW3.
I thought I was going to play Divinity Original Sin EE, buy I played StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void instead. The campaign is okay so far. We'll see how it all shakes out.

My choice of games for the weekend wasn't that amazing but I surely enjoyed myself ;P

- Gothic 1 (didn't run, w7, gotta dig up that xp machine!)
- SMW2: Yoshi's Island GBA/WiiU - failed miserably, world 5.. almost there ;(
- KOF 2002 - I suck at this so 4th fight was a flawless one -for the computer ;(
- Interstate 82 - controller was messing up the keys, so no go. Too lazy to unplug the whole thing ;(
- King's Bounty: got to the 3rd world or something! Yay!

That was my weekend. Huuuuzzaah! :(

I played and finished GOG's Gothic 1 on W7 quite some time ago, though I think an extra patch was needed. That was back during the v1.x installers though, no idea if it still needs the patch or not. Do tell if you want me to go digging for more info.

Wizardry 8 is very nice. I like it. You recognize very fast that is was made from the same developer as Jagged Alliance. First of all because of the memorable characters. At some points it can get very difficult. I still have to learn so much about the game mechanics ...

In the Testament of Sherlock Holmes I didn't get very far because I don't know how to use items. Yes I know how to select the Item I want to use but I don't know how for example to place a figure on the chessboard safe in the first crime scene. So I'm a bit stuck.

I'm playing Darkest Dungeon since it's release. It's very addicting. But like FTL it's no game to play through in one run and sit there for hours playing only that game. I think that this would be a great game for mobile devices. For example making a few runs while riding the subway or so. I'm still hoping that this game will be released on Android at some point in the future.
So from all my plans it all came down to only Star Ruler 2 with new dlc. Tried some new things out that were added with dlc and tried to play on harder settings with the new AI traits abilities. The new attitudes system is nice and adds nice bonuses - its basically a quest system that gives you bonuses on completion. Definitely going to take most of my gaming time in the future.
So my plans to get a pizza failed miserably :(
My folks arrived and pumped me full of healthy, delicious Greek food. Ugh.

In other news, I didn't get to visit Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, so my bipolar gaming inclinations got thwarted.
I did get to acquaint myself with the lovely Kathy Rain, though. Only 1.5h in but I am already enjoying myself quite a bit. This one's a keeper.
I had a bit more game time than usual on Saturday, so I ended up playing:

Metroid Prime: Played this one the most but lost about an hour of progress because I got stupid on a couple of encounters, lost too much health, and couldn't quite make it to the next save point *sigh*

Shadow of the Comet: Was making good progress until I got to a screen that had a barking dog on it, which caused my foster dog to go nuts and start barking really loudly for a few minutes. I'll get back to this one after she's adopted.

Cook, Serve, Delicious: Good for casual play, and for some reason I've always liked games about food.

Donkey Kong Country: Didn't play a lot but did get past that one level that was giving me fits (those damn barrels you have to aim correctly...).

Blue Max: Just played a few rounds on this one. Kind of fun but I need to practice a lot more. Tricky to figure out the bombs.

Keystone Kapers: One of my favorite classic Activision games. I can just imagine someone trying to pitch a game like this today (Publisher: "Who the $#!# are the Keystone $#!%ing Kops?!").

Wing Commander: Just felt like playing through it again. I think I'll run through the series in order now that I've finally got up through #4.
Fire Emblem Fates
Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance
Megadimension Neptunia VII
Bloodborne
Yakuza 5
Hi. Well I've been recently addicted to Grim Dawn so have been playing that all weekend and still. lol

I played a couple of other games briefly on Origin but most of the time was on Grim Dawn. If you liked Titan Quest then you will like this game too. Or even if you are just a fan of action rpg hack and slash grind fest kind of games.

Something about these kind of games.. I don't know if it's good or bad for the ocd. lol

Amazing to read that, man.
Let's make sure GOG keep doing this initiative more and more often. I simply loved it and reading these posts (100% of them are truly amazing!) made the whole thing much more incredible; way to go, GOG! Keeping the thing amazing as usual.

From what I recall, the unofficial patch linked here, though I think I had also installed the Player Kit to unlock the frame rate. I think I encountered issues with the videos though, and at least one door somewhere in the middle of the game wouldn't open if I run the unofficial patch.
I can try to find a Win7 machine and install the game again, but not sure when I'll find the time to do so.

P.S. This post may be more readable.
