Which games are keeping you company this weekend?

The week's end is upon us! Time to rejoice, consume unhealthy amounts of food, sleep, relax, and play a lot of videogames. Not necessarily in that order. But weekends are not about order, they are about wonderful, uninhibited, guilt-free fun.

So which games are you playing this weekend to achieve the fun? Go on, share your Weekend Playlists with us. They can include single-player games, multiplayer games, console exclusives, anything - we are not judging. In fact, we are sharing too!

Looking for some inspiration, perhaps? The GOG.com releases of the week provide plenty:

You can wreck the dead with your dancing routines in the new <span class="bold">Crypt of the NecroDancer DLC</span>
You can crawl into the labyrinthine dungeon of <span class="bold">Barony: Cursed Edition</span>
You can catch up to the upcoming <span class="bold">Blood and Wine</span> expansion for <span class="bold">The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt</span>
You can puzzle/platform your way into the enigmatic heart of the <span class="bold">Braid</span>
You can solve this giant riddle of an island as <span class="bold">The Witness</span>
You can blow away aliens with a super-tank in <span class="bold">Uprising 2: Lead and Destroy</span>
You can build your own <span class="bold">Goliath</span> and play fisticuffs with huge monsters
You can blast into space and become a <span class="bold">Star Ruler 2</span> with the new <span class="bold">DLC</span>
You can fight under the neon lights, practicing your awesome <span class="bold">Megamagic</span>
Assassin's Creed III.

I found some late appreciation for the series (while I originally already got bored with it when I first played AC2), now I wish to at least finish Desmond's story, not sure if I'll ever touch another AC game after that.
Dziki Gon niezmiennie każdego weekendu oraz w każdej innej wolnej chwili :)

Black flag is good too, it's the last AC I've played so I've no idea about the ones that came after it.
STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl with Complete Mod 2009 (2012 Edition) and Realistic Weapons. Currently crawling around in the bowels of Agoprom Research Institute.

Maybe some DOOM (the old one, with ZDoom) and some Race the Sun with the kids.

PS: And of course some RL puzzle game: Fitting stuff into moving boxes.

mk47at: Wow. I like to replay Wolf3d/SoD/Noah3d, but I play it over many short sessions. I can't imagine playing several episodes back to back during one weekend.

I think their strength lies in the arcady nature that allows jumping in and out of the game without any problems.

guppy44: I agree. They're great for popping in and out of game play. However, I have a bit of a curse where I play each title in a series in order. I just finished playing the campaigns of Call of Duty 1-Black Ops III yesterday. It took a couple of months to get through them all. Last year I played every Tomb Raider from the original 1996 to 2013 make. Now that took forever! Unfortunately this has prevented me from booting up many of my RPG titles because the time it would take to complete them all seems daunting. I need to finish Fallout: New Vegas before I can start 4, beat The Witcher 1 and 2 before I can start 3, the entire Mass Effect trilogy, all Borderlands, etc. I know they're amazing games and I'm missing out, but it would just take so much time. :)
Crap, don't remind me of Fallout: New Vagas. I still haven't completed that one. I'm not quite sure why, because there are lots of things that I like about the game. The atmosphere is great, especially the music and sound design.

It's too bad that it has some technical problems that break my immersion: The combat mechanics feel strange and underwhelming. The physics engine is bad; some people and items are stuck inside the ground. And the game tends to crash a lot and it even gets stuck during save game loading.
Witcher 1. I'm on Chap 4. Working my way through 1 & 2 then plan to play through Witcher 3 (will take me months!) Hopefully by then Oblivion will be available on GOG or there will be news of Elder Scrolls 6. If not, there is also Pillars of Eternity and Grimrock. I would get out more, but the undead won't kill themselves..... :-)

huan: I have already picked up my witcher 3 playthrough this week, I doubt I'll stop on weekend. I left it just before heading to isle of mists, in anticipation of the two expansions, it's high time I finished the main quest and hearts of stone and explore all the "?" markers before the second expansion hits. Maybe some Tyrim or Grim dawn if I get tired of drowners and wolves.

Interesting thing, I had no trouble remembering where I was and what I was planning to do next. Usually when returning to openworld RPG after 8 months, it's better to start from the beginning. Not this time.
Didn't get tired of drowners and wolves, my gfx card got tired of them. With no way to do anything about it except rant here, because Sunday. Sigh.

Yeah, I've heard that it's supposed to be great, possibly the best AC game, but honest to God, I don't think I'll ever be able to touch another AC game again after finishing ACIII and story-wise it seems to be the right point to stop anyway.
Determined to finish Witcher 3+DLC on Game+ mode.
In between that a bit of Stellaris.
I planned to start Wizardry 6 playthrough, but I'm still stuck on reading the manual and handbook, trying different party builds in my notebook. Maybe I will create the party tonight and start it up finally.

Navagon: Doom. I'm not normally someone who pre-orders, but I got it damn near half price and, well it's Doom, isn't it? Bloody good so far...

psadler: Where did you get it half price?
CDKeys.com. It was near enough half price with a discount code. I doubt the code still works, but it's £27 now without it.
Witcher 1, I love that story...
Well, I finished Rhythm Tengoku at least. Should be getting the DS version soon.
This weekend I finished the Darkest Dungeon and played Prisoner of Ice. The latter was disappointing, though.
