Hi, I just downloaded hereos chronicles but it won't launch - does anyone know why?
What happens? Do you get any kind of error message?

No it just starts but stops.

Not a lot to go on there. Run it in compatibility mode for xp as admin. Disable DEP. make sure you don’t have any scaling options set for your desktop to increase the size of items. That’s where I would start.

Make sure you kill any processes for it that may be in the background after crashing.

Sorry I'm not very computer savy - could you direct me on how to do the above? Would really appreciate any help that you would be willing to give. Last time I played this was with a disc

If you right click on the launch icon for the game, and click "Properties" and then select the tab "Compatibility" you can select a compatibility mode (XP usually does the trick).

To kill processes, press CTRL-SHIFT-ESCAPE and you'll see a list of processes that are running on the computer. If any of them mention "Heroes" or "Chronicles," you can end them by clicking on them, and then the "End Process" button.

I'm assuming that you're running Windows, here. I don't know anything about Macs.
