I am having serious difficulty with the final boss. I even leveled up everybody to level 8 (the maximum) and maxed out the stats of both the main character and the gargoyle who joins late in the game and am *still* having trouble. Any advice?

Also, to preempt any questions people might ask, please be aware that this is all the information I have. In particular, I do not know what game I am talking about, so please don't ask.

Anyone offer any advice?

P. S. Happy April Fools!
Have you tried using more skill?
Do as everyone else does: cheat your way out.

Ps. Sad April Fool!

Nah, just kidding, LOLZ! Happy April Fool, of course, LÖLZ!

Actually, something I forgot to mention: The game is turn-based and doesn't seem to involve skill. There don't appear to be any skills either.

I've found the hidden cheat menu, but can't find any cheat that would help me defeat the final boss.

Ok, so it is Candy Crush Saga.

Same as with FF7 Ruby Weapon: you have to kill yourself, in order to defeat the boss. I know it doesn't make much sense, but then nothing in this world does.

SPOILER ALERT!!
Wait exactly 1 year to date then try again, the cheat will be there in a box under the stairway leading from the graveyard path in the forest from the North track. You must travel past the old tree on your left that has an orange flower underneath it but do not under any circumstances pick up the flower or you will fall asleep for another 13 months and when you awaken will have to wait another 11 months. If you don't know where the graveyard is then you should not be fighting the final boss because you missed the best part of the game and should start a new game and search for the graveyard.I hope I haven't made it too easy for you or made a spoiler available to all the viewers.
Level 8, gargoyle, can't beat the boss. Sounds like final fantasy. Try casting mirror for both your party and the boss, and then cast as much magic as possible and let the magic reflected all the way around the battle. Remember to renew the mirror before the effects runs out. When your game crashes for too many magic being bouncing around the boss will surrender immediately
How do you know its the final boss if you haven't got past it?
Just use this input:
A B B A B A B A A B Select B A Up+Left B Down+Right B Up+Down B B A B A Start B A B B A A B LS+RS Left (for three seconds) B B B B A B B Right (for seven seconds) Up Up Up Down LT+LB+LS+RT+RB+RS+Start+Select+A+B+X+Y "and Bob's your uncle" (that's of course the password you have to enter on the popup that appears after the input sequence). Confirm the password by holding LB+RT+Down+X+B+Live Button for 27 seconds (but make sure you don't accidentally also press A or Y because that will restart story mode and overwrite your progress).

Hope this helps!

Words of wisdom right there!
Have you tried asking this question in the appropriate subforum?

Have you tried hacking the save file?

Have you tried Hare Krishna?
You need more gamer rage. Try throwing your controller. This is why controller is superior to KB/M.
Well see, you opted for the gargoyle when you could have had the fleet of Lemmings and their aerial bombardments. While many claim that his trivializes the second Draxis battle and profess for the Gargoyle's grater stats as a statistical net benefit over the Lemmings. these people fail to appreciate to intent of the design of the game. In that having the gargoyle is ultimately one of the many failure states of the game.

Hit tilde, then enter god mode by typing in Deatrice.

How would I even know what the appropriate subforum is?

(Serious note: There actually is a specific game I was thinking about when I made this post, but there is one aspect that doesn't add up. Can anyone guess which game it is? (Hint: It is available on this website.))
