"Blobby Volley" was a big hit (at least in Germany) at the beginning of the 2000s. Students were playing it in classrooms where computers were available. It is a very charming game with a lot of fun, especially in 2-player mode. Please help to bring more awareness to it on GOG.

Play it for free: https://www.blobby-volley.net/blobby-download-file.php?ID=6

Vote for it in the wishlist, so GOG adds this game for free: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/blobby_volley

Nice. I remember a bit older title. I think it was inspiration of Blobby Volley authors.

It was quite popular in these parts as well. We alternated between Mortal Kombat and Blobby matches during breaks.

True, there is a 2019 article in the German magazine "Der Spiegel", where one of the makers of "Blobby Volley" says that they played "Arcade Volleyball" and wanted to improve the ball physics of this game.

Wow, this is so awesome! I didn't even know that Blobby Volley was popular in East Europe as well, thanks for letting me know.

It has a Wikipedia article and was last updated 5 years ago, how obscure could it be?

Though, fare thee well in yon endeavors.

I just consider a game obscure when even Mobygames makes it tough to find.
I played it as well.

There is a Blobby Volley 2, but it's not really a sequel, just a lazy update from other developers. There are some minor changes and it has an additional very ugly background. I recommend the first Blobby Volley, which is the best one.

Disgrace! This is a blatant ripoff of Arcade Volleyball! I'm offended! Offended and HURT!!!

Also in Italy, that's awesome! Blobby Volley was more widely played than I thought.

Ok, just don't forget to vote for Blobby Volley in the wishlist. Imagine Blobby Volley being Street Fighter 2 (great) and Arcade Volleyball being Street Fighter 1 (it sucks).

Well, it hasn't enough votes in the wishlist, so that's pretty obscure to me. But the votes DOUBLED since my posting, that's really great! Let's continue this!
