And take it easy, your GPU is fully compatible with Vulkan

Ohhh and more info, are you using Galaxy or the offline installers for the game?

No error message or anything except when i ran X4 foundations x4.exe from the directory it said in french i translate: cannot launch this app: 0x0000007b

That sounds like a dependency issue. You need to make sure you have all the required redistributables installed.

I installed all vc redists from 2005 to now... latest directx, latest gpu drivers from nvidia. IM SO LOST

Yep, it's a .dll problem, try to install the VCRedist form Windows, ×64 and ×86 you have to install both... The problem is I don't know what is the one you need to install for those games, the best is to download the offline installer from the game here on GOG, and reinstall your game from there, you can import the game to Galaxy later, the installer automatically install the DirectX and Redistributables you need to launch the game. This is a vommon problem when you reinstall Windows :)

Have you tried running DISM or SFC?

KetobaK is right, make sure you have both x86 and x64 versions installed.

Have you install x86 redist too? You need both. Restar your computer after that or try reinstall the game, like I said before, I recommend the offline installer from the page.

Have you tried the offline installer? Trust me it will work, it's a common problem of missing .dll, the installer got all the programs you need to run the game, unistall, reinstall with the offline installer from the web page and tell me if it works, I'm convinced it will solve your problem ;)
And remember to restar your computer and try to execute as administrator (right click on the icon of the game, run this program as administrator).

Did you remember to install the motherboard drivers?

Try to launch the game, then start the event viewer.
Go to Windows Logs -> Application and look for the newest error.
Make a picture and post it here.
