Had a lot of fun with the first game, the maps were a bit frustrating at times but the gunplay is really nice.
I'm looking forward to playing through 1 (again) and 2. :)

Ah shit it's already August 30, 2021. Damn time flies. I'm really looking forward to checking out the new update.

you're right. But
"as already announced by a user named thraxman in some thread here weeks ago" doesn't sound great commercially, you will agree

I don't plan to play it soon but nice news nonetheless

Question: Do I have to replay the first game in order to access the second? Or can you start the second independently, or continue from old savegames?

There is a episode select when you start a new game.
