From a Finnish neighbour that thinks that Finland has a lot of best neighbours.

Annoyed google did not really yield what we gave as a present. Any Estonians here - was it any good?

I also think that if most of the world, let alone EU, had such feel-good relationship with their immediate regions, the world would be much happier place.

 ES - from FIN!

It's been a century since Estonia declared itself independent. Of course, it been occupied by the Soviet Union for roughly half that century. Still, no doubt an event many Estonians celebrate.
Congrats, and I am ashamed to admit that I didn't know (or remember) that apparently Estonia got its independence around the same time as Finland (because we were just celebrating our 100 years independence anniversary as well), but I guess it makes sense, probably the same happenings "elsewhere" affected that.

I am also "odd" in that I have visited Estonia only once in my life, even though I live in southern Finland in the Helsinki area where it is quite common to visit Estonia, i think. Same goes for Russia even though it is "just across the border". In Norway I have also visited once (Tromsa, northern Norway). Sweden, maybe even four or five times.

Anyway, here's for another 100 years for Estonia! I bet we will have flying cars by then and people will eat food pills that come from machines! Oh and robot dogs, yes definitely robot dogs!

That depends entirely upon whether your next sentence is "and 12 points go to Cyprus".

Terviseks!
I am quite the Eurovision fancier, but thus far, the weight of my paid votes have went towards Belgium, actually. Not that I vote every year - I have to like it.

Finland paid somewhat hard to get away from occupation that befell Estonia, and also was lucky to do so to an extent, without freedom to express solidarity. This still burdens what should be the tightest bond, I perso think.

So before, it would have not been possible to freely say it is the 100th b-day.

I feel very free and happy to say those congrats.

And that FI is for the most lucky to have pretty great neighbours, even if I wish EE & FI would be as close as we perceive FI & SE to be.
