I've completed it and I guess I need to discuss it with someone.

I'm not sure if I want to spoil it for the others here in the discussion though, if they want to try themselves.

I can recommend it as a pretty unique experience. I think there was nothing similar in gaming like this one.

Sure you got the positive ending?

Just the standard one, I've read about the positive one, but it seems too much work for little reward and it adds little to the experience. Or is it worth it?

The interaction with the characters to get there is worth it.

The "psychological horror" tag piqued my interest, but I couldn't tell if that was serious or some kind of joke. Does it actually have legit horror elements?
Not horror per se imo... just unsettling.. a few jump scares / wtf moments... not real horror
Oh wow. It's free on Steam and Itch.io too? Think i'll go try it out

There are a few games with similar experiences - Pony Island and Undertale to name a couple. Yeah, it is rather creepy. There is a secret ending you can get if you logically extrapolate from the events of the game and decide to experiment and play god - beware that it doesn't end well.
Game Theory did a couple of videos on it. Pretty interesting stuff they came up with.

It also has a perfectly working Linux version on itch.io inside the Windows download, afaik Steam lacks that.
I actually bought this on itch, just because it's a great experience.
Just played this one out of curiosity, and ended up finishing it in one session with what I guess is the standard ending.

Cannot be more happy to have been so surprised and proven wrong by a game. Once I get around to it, definitely purchasing the fan pack. Developers like this need support, and they deserve it for what they made.

Needless to say, I cannot recommend it enough. New players need to just go in blind.
I was aware of the existence of this game, but I had automatically dismissed it for its art style and for being (or rather looking like) a visual novel. But I happen to love weird games with creepy twists like has been suggested here, so I'll pick it up for sure.

Thanks for the recommendation!
