Is it just me, or has GoG all but forgotten or abandoned the new GoG Connect? I know they have other things to work on, but maybe an update or some news about it would be nice.

I had certainly forgotten about it, it's been at least five minutes since somebody opened a topic about it.

From the gog connect page:
"The eligible games are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned for more games to come."

Gog has not forgotten. There will be deals when developers and publishers allow them.
