CymTyr: That's crazy. When I was in college, I had a similar situation, and I just gave both professors the same paper. The only thing they both did was verify I wrote it, after that they were fine.

Then again that was in Flagstaff, AZ, and they were a little more relaxed than they are here in the midwest.

tinyE: Oh come on, Missouri isn't that uptight. As of 2006 it's no longer illegal for a minor to check "Slaughterhouse V" out of a library without a parent present. :P
I forget which state it is that it's illegal to get a donkey drunk in, but this law reminded me of that.

paladin181: You don't care about splitting hairs (it's not) because it doesn't fit your argument. "Someone told me I'm wrong, and demonstrated the point. I know, I'll ignore it and claim it as semantics!!"

Breja: You didn't demonstrate anything You said "And if the intended purpose was to harm your system you'd be right.the "mal-" in malware means malice, or mal intent".
To which I responded that GOG's underhanded way of spreading a potentialy harmful software, in my opinion, is "malicious".

And apparently you do agree that what GOG is doing with Galaxy installers is wrong, so we really are arguing nothing but the applicability of the word "malicious". So yes, this is semantics.
Sure. I can get behind that. I really don't care all that much. The program itself is fine in my opinion. I just hate the way they propagated it.

As for BK's insistence that the numbers were rising, its likely that they weren't rising fast enough. When you have to meet quarterly projections you'll do everything you can to make it.
I'm not a fan of Galaxy and hopefully I'll never be forced on using it, but I am aware of its usefulness. Whatever anyone will say, I'm positive that some of the newer games are now on GOG because of Galaxy. And we also get some of the game updates sooner, when the devs are using it.
Are they gone again? I see only classic installers for Mafia 3.
low rated

Looks like they're back. I just checked some titles in my library that I knew had the bundled installers before and, yep, all have reverted back to bundled installers. At least the dropdown option for classic installers is still there, for now.

Looks like they are gone. Again lol

No galaxy installers in my account and no dropdown option for them.

Maybe is some testing, but actually there are no installers but there is still the note ("The above installer does not include...")

Maybe it's currently a regional thing? I just checked for Divinity: Original Sin and it's still offering bundled installers by default with classic non-bundled as an option in the drop-down.
Seems like they are still there. At least for Elex and Carmageddon: Max Damage. A lot of other games though, only have classic installers.
