Just downloaded Heroes of Hammerwatch latest version and noticed that the option to chose your installer had gone, and apperars to be gone on all my other games as well. The installer for Heroes of Hammerwatch does not contain the Galaxy installation files so maybe they finally listened to the community and ditched the things.

Hey yeah, you are right! I took a quick look at my library (web version, not galaxy), and there is no longer any differentiation between "Galaxy Installers" and "Classic Installers". Everything is now simply just a single "Game downloads", and according to you, it seems that the Galaxy installer files are totally not included.

You are right, I just noticed this now. Thank god they got rid of those 2 installer options. was a pain in the ass tbh. Leave Galaxy downloads to the client itself not the website.

How??
All this time they had been arguing for so long that those installers are necessary, for people can not seem to install Galaxy by themselves?

Or maybe this is just another bug?

Downloads from the clients do not need to include Galaxy, as the user already has the client installed, making the process redundant.

I hated the times I downloaded games like witcher 3 and it was galaxy only lol great times that was haha

Next steps:

1) Disable the old gog downloader.
2) Remove ability to download via a browser.
3) Realise not all things are yet downloadable via Galaxy and temporarily revert #2.
4) ...?

Galaxy installers are gone - a thing so many people have PRAYED for ... yet not a single official post from GOG? Very starnge ....
