Telika: That's one slow reader, here.
Badum tsh. Totally forgot about this thread, especially because I had no time to pick up the issue for a couple of days after posting. Eventually I got it and read the whole article but I've already forgotten most of it. :P All I can say now is that the gameplay is certainly supposed to bechallenging, not just mindless slaughter of harmless civilians. Apparently it's quite easy to get killed. The author also praised the diversity of the locations which also play very differently. He also revealed the healing system which is quite messed up. You heal by killing people which means that often you will barely survive an encounter and then walk around executing the heavily wounded survivors and then be magically all healed up. He also noted that the game was technically in a pretty bad state at the time, don't know how much that has changed since then. Oh and it seems that there will indeed not be some big plot that justifies any of this, just this mass murderer with growing ambitions as the game goes on. Also the team apparently mostly consists of people who previously worked at Farm 51 who made NecroVision and Deadfall Adventures. That's all I remember right now.
htown1980: Lol. Do magazines still exist?
Some. In Poland most mags disappeared a couple of years ago with only one of them surviving but I consider this one really great, I even imported it when I still lived in Germany, that's how much I loved their reviews and other articles. Oddly enough also a new mag appeared here recently, that was quite shocking.
