I'm willing to bet this game dies now that steam has tightened up on early release rules. I doubt it was ever meant to be anything more than an eternal alpha or have any real purpose other than sucking money out of the pockets of angry troglodytes.

With all the flack that Steam has got for being an uncurated DD store, I think it would be ironic & funny if the tide really started to turn in GOG's favor because of a game Steam wouldn't sell.
