Is funny how the moral police of the forum rate low a post about info of a game, whatever if they kill "innocent pixels on it" and just do not look or low rate a post about calling a real person (Gabe) FAT, would be negatively rated if we were called Anita Sarkesian Fat? She is also kind of fat, I meet her in person.

But Gabe? I know he is a bit fat, seriously, I know... but I find this kind of contradictions in "censor values" very interesting...

Ophelium: I voted for the game on the wishlist prior to the "hype". I liked the concept, but, when it became this whole "ooh, it's AO" thing and the gameplay videos just seemed boring, I stopped caring about the game.

Co-op seems unnatural for a game like Hatred ("Hey, buddy, wanna go commit genocide?" "Sure!" "Remember, don't shoot me, even though I'm a human being like all the others you despise."). PvP would probably be more fitting. But...then I remember this is Hatred that we're talking about.

Gonchi: Does anyone even still have illusions the wishlist plays any part on GOG's release decisions? The bulk of indie games being released are in the low double digits (Infinifactory 19 votes, Ronin and Anna's Quest 16 votes each, The Guild of Dungeoneering and Odallus 3 votes each. Seems like recently only Her Story and Samorost 2 managed to break three digits and make it into the low 100's , the wishlist is as significant as GOG's commitment to flat worldwide pricing.

I guess my thoughts aren't much different than they were a couple of weeks ago; Why are so many of you obsessed with fighting?

Gonchi: You can spin whatever majority/minority reading you want from the wishlist, 4000 people voted in favor of Hatred being released here, a further 400 voted against it in what I believe is an unique entry in GOG's wishlist (an entry against a game being released), so majority among those that cared enough to vote one way or the other, minority among the total, indifferent user-base.
I think that's still classified as a vocal minority :)

I think either interpretation is valid.

Looking back, LeonardoCornejo did not claim 4100 were a majority of GOG users (if he did, I can't find it, link me?), that's actually something you said and attributed to him, he also didn't bring up the vocal minority/silent majority point, that was SirPrimalform. Basically, it seems these last two pages have been mostly arguing about a point LeonardoCornejo never actually made. Go figure, no wonder this thread won't die.

As you pointed I never said those who wanted the game were the majority of GOG users, just the majority of the GOG users caring about the game. But they are a silent "majority" so to speak, because those against the game are a notably smaller minority but they are more pushing. And if you count all the gamers, not only GOG userbase, those who wanted the game are a majority IN COMPARISON to those who don't want it.

Frankly, I'm not sure those that wanted to get the game on GOG prior to release would still be interested in it now, or if the devs are even still interested in releasing the game on GOG. Most people, I think, have moved on. I get that you're still passionate about the game being released here, but you might want to consider a different approach, I don't think you're going to accomplish anything by arguing with people in this thread.

There are so many topics in this world that nobody has anything new to add. But hey!, if it bothers you, you can still talking about horses... I still think censorship violence on games is for hypocritical societies, worried about ¨pixels¨ and caring few or hiding the real world problems.

But yeah, saying the horse is dead, there is nothing else to talk about... is like being a (moral) police saying "hey guys, nothing to see here, walk on..."

So it also reminds me SouthPark... like your first horse...

No, LeonardoCornejo suggested that the wishlist showed that the people who wanted Hatred were something other than a "vocal minority". In his post below he suggests that they are a "silent majority".

I think its just a fundamental misunderstanding of what is meant by a "vocal minority". Sure they may be the majority of people who are making noise (hence the vocal part) but they are a minority of all people. I think LeonardoCornejo's misunderstanding of what a vocal minority is, is made clear in his post immediately below yours. Clearly a "vocal minority" and what LeonardoCornejo describes as a "silent majority" are not mutually exclusive.

p.s. I don't think this is arguing, just discussing. Nothing wrong with discussing.

All right, folks, I have a question for you. How does it come many people are asking for
