I mostly ignored her until recently that she began to gain power, all her propaganda talks, her "Listen and believe thing", and her apearance on TV make her the next Jack Thompson (minus the honor) and we both know he was not ignored, he was proven wrong over and over again.

During about 8 hours I played, I haven't had a single crash or game breaking issue. But as usual, it's a matter of system, drivers, whatever. There have been reports of drastic slowdowns on low health and flashbangs, which I've never seen.

Yeah, I'd very much like to see something like that.

So the game was all hype it seems. Think I'll purchase it regardless because I enjoy twin-stick shooters and the destructible environments speak to me.

See the problem? Let's take Mr. Thompson shall we? he didn't go away because people were hitting him with "truth bombs" left and right exposing his arugements for the flimsy pile of mindless drivel they were, he went away because he made a ass out of himself one time too many, decided to challenge the constitutionality of the Florida bar association, made a public ass out of himself and got disbarred and then people just ignored him as he no longer a credible threat since no one in the general public is going to take seriously a attorney who got himself disbarred because he went even further off the deep end.

In other words he went away because no one was paying any attention to him anymore because he was a disbarred discrace that lost his license to practice law by doing something insanely stupid.

Why exactly do you? Just curious because I loved it.

First off, well written. Secondly, while I don't agree with you, I respect your opinion and can understand why you feel like you do. I've beaten the game at least 3 or 4 times on every difficulty setting (my fastest playthrough was under 4 hours) and I personally enjoy the game despite the glaring flaws. The ending was great for me because I honestly didn't even see it coming and I felt like it was a great slap in the face when it came to the protagonist. I'm surprised you didn't cover the evolution of the character as he gets progressively psychotic with his executions as the game progresses (Also you dont have to shoot the civilians. You can aim to the sky and fire and they will disperse). One point though I disagree with is the part about the American soldiers. I think that is a valid thing the game points out to us, that we generally disassociate ourselves from the killings of others if they are not us, be they brown or international soldiers like in CoD, and because we are Americans killing Americans it becomes hard to detach ourselves from that. Games don't ask you how many enemy combatants you killed and they don't care, which helps the game establish itself.
Still, I totally understand your opinion, and while I disagree on some things, you are right to voice those problems the game has.

I'm mostly so adament about it on the forum because literally everyone else is in love with the game -_- It's my hipster opinion, and I get to shove it in people's faces, darn it!

I do legitimately hate the game, but ehh... people can enjoy what they like.

Working at a Gamestop has really changed what games I play and what I talk about, so you'll never ever see me talking about how great Call of Duty or how innovative Battlefield is ever to my customers, and because of that I recommend them Spec Ops so they will shut the fuck up and play something different.

Also, GRR RAWR RAWR THE OLD SPEC OPS REALLY SEUCK GRR RAWR!!!!

Do they? I've never played them. I hear they're basically just oldschool squad-based shooters, right?

They aren't enjoyable from my experience. Still more fun than watching a PediePie video though.

I won't buy it outside GOG, but just to know, is this game is REALLY politically correct? And with this I mean, can you really kill everything you might find in a city? I understood there are no child, but what about:

- minorities; I do not want to appear racist you know, can obviously I kill whites, but what about blacks, chinese, etc?
- in the world not everyone is young and fit, people can be fat or old, can I kill old and fat guys/gals?
- animals like dogs, cats, or more exotic ones like snakes or lions in a Zoo; I do not want to appear specist either why kill only homo sapiens?
- gun nuts, we know most weapons are in the hands of civilians in the US[1], I'd like to play the myth 4;
- other kind of unusual people like crossdressers...
- can I play as a women?

If it is really politically correct, well... then it is an istabuy when/if appears here.

Yes there are gun nuts and they seem to be as annoying as the cops as they will come after you and try to take you out and they look like they will gang up on you.

No you can't play as a Woman, just a emo glenn danzig in a trench coat spouting lines that sound like they belong in a Lincon Park song or a teenager's attempt at Death metal lyrics.
