ScotchMonkey: Manhunt had a cool concept marred by janky controls. Im totally with you P2. P1 just wasn't that good.
Yes, the Postal2 concept of "solve the way you like" is something unique and great. I remember once I played as stoned pacifist that abhor violence (but loves the crack, otherwise I am not sure you can survive) and finished the game with 0 kills.
The first time I played as pretty much normal, if a little trigger happy, person who shoots to defend his life.
Another time I played as the stereotypical red neck "shoot first, don't ask" guy.
Another time I played as policeman. Sure, the game implies you steal the uniform. But in my mind was just the begin of the workday: go the station, put the uniform, go to your workplace: the streets.
Heck, I felt Postal2 much more a role playing game than games marked as RPG!

Ah, I kind of agree to a point about manhunt. That last few levels were abit bleh, but the end was well worth it.

Novotnus: Wrong! The correct answer is:
I wanted to make sure you'd feel comfortable with me.
Let's try again:
You're as repulsive as a monkey in a negligee.
Kardwill: Oooooh, I know, I know! "I wanted to make sure you'd feel comfortable with me." I wanted to make sure you'd feel comfortable with me.

Yeah, I often use the "flee" option during duels in Monkey Island, how could you tell?
[yeah, that was the only way to learn new insults :)]

etb: I am in the middle ground. I LOVE Postal2, I find Postal1 just meh, and I liked Manhunt until it becomes a 3d person shooter; I don't remember the details but after escaping the "movie" everyone has a gun and so the game has no more "hide and kill" gameplay.
About gameplay: Postal 2 has some funny elements, probably the best one is the exploration, physics were also funny. Manhunt has some good mechanics but they are repeated ad nauseam, is not a bad ¨Stealth¨game at some moments and the combat was good. Postal 1 is simply a crap in terms of gameplay. Hatred is like Postal but well done, (not definitively on optimization but the gameplay is ok) To add other polemic game I should say that Carmageddon was the most funny of all, mixing the most interesting way of getting time for the Race through destruction and chaos, having exploration and very interesting physics plus being a nice ¨racing¨ game.
About content:
Carmaggedon was hilarious, apocalyptic and totally unrealistic, evil and funny. Postal 1 and Hatred are the same thing, you are one of these wackos that suddenly switch off from human connection and want revenge and attention, nothing much to explore here. Postal 2 has lots of morbid and dark humorous moments, most of them are pretty cheap, but still, not bad. Manhunt is the best in this part, as approaches the violence as a morbid necessity, both to survive (for the main character) and to WATCH (Audience)
So...
In this part I need to say that Manhunt is simply great in Content. I just get bored of the repetitive moments and mechanics. Carmageddon is by far the most funny of all, Hatred and Postal are the most polemic ones as they touch a key that terrifies society, the possibility of a simple guy or girl, your neighbor, get "postal", and just the look and the representation of this idea make people all around pee in their pants to assume that something so wrong can happen so close to them (Most part of them do not pay a shit about Wars in other countries, mostly paid and supported by our own governments armies), the same way some superstitious people do not like you talk to them about a sickness or about death, as they feel words could have some power over this. Postal 2 is in the middle of nowhere in this polemic, is polemic enough, but still has much of dark humor.
IMHO someone that can just copy the events on HATRED or POSTAL is going to explode soon or later whatever if he or she plays or not this shit. Brenda Spencer never needed a Videogame to start shooting everyone in 1979.

I just want to get something clarified, from someone who actually played the game. Is it true that the current build is unstable? Because if thst is true that could close the case for now. GOG rejects unstable builds unless the game is a best seller or something like that. Most unstable indie games never get released until they fix the issues.

LeonardoCornejo: I have not seen them trying to generate more controversy later, they are more or less satisfied with the sales it seems.
Once the cat is out of the box, the surprise is stale. Unless they decide to add a lot of new content, there's no point for them to make a move on that game. Ha. Ha. Ha. Am I stupid, too?
LeonardoCornejo: But I think I am wasting my time talking to a person that strongly defended Anita Sarkeesian not so long ago.
Have you even watched her videos? You once mistook your brother for a dog.

Because she felt the need to antagonize all men. Let's not forget her tweets about "Toxica masculinity", because she feels the need to antagonize gamers, video games, and the creators of those games, and because she is a big fraud who could not even deliver what she promised to her backers and used to hang arround witha pickup artist.
